‭Job Description‬

‭ e are looking for a Category Manager who will be a key part of the core team and responsible‬

‭for developing & sustainably growing the category and ensuring the overall management of the‬
‭P&L..‬

‭ ey role attributes‬

‭Job Responsibilities:‬
‭•‬‭Manage the overall P&L of the category.‬
‭•‬‭Work closely with the sales team and channel partners (Amazon, FK, Tata, Reliance, etc) to‬
‭develop and expand the category.‬
‭•‬‭Liaise with the marketing team to develop the proposition for all products and ensure that the‬
‭marketing collateral is delivered on time as per the brief.‬
‭•‬‭Analyze marketing spend within each channel and make recommendations on improving ROI.‬
‭•‬‭Analyze market trends and work closely with the product development, and supply chain‬
‭team to deliver the right products within aligned timelines and build a portfolio for the future.‬
‭•‬‭Analyze category growth and market share trends by sub-segment.‬
‭•‬‭Analyze our category performance within each channel and make recommendations for the‬
‭expansion of the channel‬
‭•‬‭Analyze pricing trends, and ASP of our products in the portfolio and recommend changes to‬
‭the price‬
‭•‬‭Keep up to date with the latest developments (new technology, new features) in the category.‬
‭Conduct regular and detailed analysis of competitive offerings and our pricing, and positioning‬
‭versus competitors to identify any gaps in our portfolio and recommend corrective actions.‬
‭•‬‭Analyze data on customer retention, cross-selling, upgrades, repeat buying, etc, and make‬
‭recommendations on increasing lifetime value (LTV).‬
‭•‬‭Analyze ratings and reviews and provide inputs to marketing and product management‬
‭teamWork with customer service and ORM team to improve customer satisfaction and ensure‬
‭that all issues are being closed promptly.‬
‭•‬‭Develop an annual and 3-year business plan for the category, including category P&L with‬
‭inputs from sales, product management, and marketing.‬
‭Qualifications:‬

‭•‬‭Proficient in category management, key account management, managing data, leveraging‬


‭insights to drive penetration, and program management.‬
‭•‬‭4+ years of experience in e-commerce sales/category/channel management/brand‬
‭management‬
‭•‬‭Ability to work with cross-functional teams – the ability to influence in absence of reporting‬
‭relationship‬
‭•‬‭Expert in Excel and PowerPoint.‬
