Job Description
 e are looking for a Category Manager who will be a key part of the core team and responsible
W
for developing & sustainably growing the category and ensuring the overall management of the
 P&L..

Job Responsibilities:
 •Manage the overall P&L of the category.
  •Work closely with the sales team and channel partners (Amazon, FK, Tata, Reliance, etc) to
                develop and expand the category.
   •Liaise with the marketing team to develop the proposition for all products and ensure that the
                 marketing collateral is delivered on time as per the brief.
    •Analyze marketing spend within each channel and make recommendations on improving ROI.
     •Analyze market trends and work closely with the product development, and supply chain
                  team to deliver the right products within aligned timelines and build a portfolio for the future.
      •Analyze category growth and market share trends by sub-segment.
       •Analyze our category performance within each channel and make recommendations for the
                   expansion of the channel
        •Analyze pricing trends, and ASP of our products in the portfolio and recommend changes to
                    the price
         •Keep up to date with the latest developments (new technology, new features) in the category.
                     Conduct regular and detailed analysis of competitive offerings and our pricing, and positioning
                      versus competitors to identify any gaps in our portfolio and recommend corrective actions.
          •Analyze data on customer retention, cross-selling, upgrades, repeat buying, etc, and make
                       recommendations on increasing lifetime value (LTV).
           •Analyze ratings and reviews and provide inputs to marketing and product management
                        teamWork with customer service and ORM team to improve customer satisfaction and ensure
                         that all issues are being closed promptly.
            •Develop an annual and 3-year business plan for the category, including category P&L with
                          inputs from sales, product management, and marketing.
Qualifications:
•Proficient in category management, key account management, managing data, leveraging
       insights to drive penetration, and program management.
 •4+ years of experience in e-commerce sales/category/channel management/brand
        management
  •Ability to work with cross-functional teams – the ability to influence in absence of reporting
         relationship
   •Expert in Excel and PowerPoint.
