Role & responsibilities

1. Driving Business & Market Share

a. Business forecasting & planning track, analyse and implement strategies that will ensure category
growth

b. Drive volume & value growth across regions to deliver on annual marketing plan for designated
portfolio. Own up the task of delivering MS growths for the portfolio.

c. Plan the portfolio AOP and be the pivotal role in its implementation and monitoring!

2. Leading the Innovation process & portfolio P&L

a. Lead the innovation process of introducing new products in the portfolio through gate processes
and own the 8Q innovation funnel.

b. Lead projects for renovation / GM improvements which drive the portfolio P&L

c. Effective NPD Launch through relevant marketing and branding initiatives and tracking and
monitoring them ensuring planned outcomes

d. Ability to work with cross functional teams to deliver growth strategies aligned to the overall
business

e. Should be aware and well versed with research techniques, concept writing,

f. business opportunity sizing, leading cross functional teams etc.

3. Brand Building & Demand Generation

a. Development and implementation of the marketing, branding and portfolio

communications strategy - including campaigns, content, design, events, digital marketing, and PR.

b. Engage with creative partners / agencies to develop and drive a singular message for the portfolio

c. Design consumer promotions / schemes / initiatives for increasing consumer offtakes.

d. Provide short- and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection,
analysis, and interpretation of market data.

e. Drive consumer understanding for overall brand as well as the portfolio categories to feed into
initiative planning
f. Influence present and future products by providing market and consumer insights

g. Partner with channel heads (Ecommerce / MT / Food aggregators) to plan and drive portfolio
growths in these new channels

h. Partner with agencies on driving awareness and generating demand through new age media

4. Additional Brand Responsibilities

a. Manage portfolio A&SP budgets

b. Participate in the demand and supply planning process / S&OP process

c. Working closely with the company’s sales team; enabling them with relevant consumer insights to

meet their objectives.

1. E-commerce Strategy & Leadership


Lead the development and execution of the overall ecommerce strategy, focusing on revenue
growth, customer acquisition, retention, and brand awareness.
Set clear performance goals and KPIs, and ensure the team is aligned to meet them.

2. Revenue Growth & Profitability


Drive significant growth in online sales by optimizing the customer journey, increasing conversion
rates, and scaling online marketing efforts. Focus on increasing average order value (AOV), customer
lifetime value (CLTV), and improving profitability across ecommerce channels.

3. Team Leadership & Development:


Build and lead a high-performing ecommerce team :-Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous
learning, and high performance, while setting clear goals and expectations for team members.

4. Quick Commerce Strategy: Lead initiatives to enhance the brand's presence in the quick
commerce space, understanding trends and adapting strategies to meet evolving consumer
demands.
5. Business Partner Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners
and vendors, ensuring mutual growth and seamless coordination on all e-commerce initiatives.

6. Ecommerce Operations Management:


Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ecommerce business, including website management,
product listings, inventory coordination, fulfillment, and customer service. Ensure smooth and
efficient operational workflows that deliver on customer expectations.

7. Marketing & Customer Acquisition:


Develop and implement performance marketing strategies to drive traffic to ecommerce platforms
and optimize campaigns for conversions and customer acquisition.

8. P&L Ownership & Budget Management:


Own the P&L for ecommerce operations, ensuring budgets are managed effectively across marketing
& inventory. Make data-driven decisions to maximize return on investment (ROI) and optimize
spending.

9. Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams such as product, sourcing, marketing, operations, finance, and
customer service to ensure a seamless ecommerce experience.
Communicate effectively with senior leadership to ensure alignment on key initiatives and strategic
priorities.

10. Data-Driven Decision Making:


Analyze ecommerce metrics (traffic, conversion rates, AOV, customer behavior, etc.) and provide
insights to drive strategic improvements. Use data to inform decision-making, identify growth
opportunities, and optimize the ecommerce business.

11. Innovation & Trend Awareness:


Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in ecommerce and digital
marketing.
Continuously experiment with new tactics and technologies to keep the ecommerce platform
competitive and innovative.
Preferred Experience & Skills:

Experience: Minimum of 8+ years in ecommerce leadership roles, with a proven track record of
driving growth in online retail, especially in B2C environments in the electronics industry .

Ecommerce Platform Expertise: Strong experience with leading ecommerce / Quick commerce
platforms.

Qualifications:

 Proven experience in e-commerce, with a strong track record of growth in the consumer
electronics or similar sectors.

 Ecommerce Platform Expertise: Strong experience with leading ecommerce / Quick


commerce platforms.

 Experience working with major e-commerce marketplaces in India, with additional points for
experience at D2C or consumer tech brands.

 In-depth understanding of P&L management, budgeting, and financial forecasting.

 Ability to take full ownership and responsibility, with a proactive, problem-solving approach.

 Demonstrated ability to build positive, lasting relationships with key business partners and
vendors.

Role and Responsibilities:


We are looking for someone to be a part of Gritzo – a leading online child nutrition brand in India.
As an BM in Gritzo you will have the following responsibilities:
1. Collaboration & Driving Projects with Product/Tech teams:
· Revamp Gritzo Brand Websites/App in line with new brand communication & positioning.
· Oversee Gritzo brand websites/App post revamp for seamless operation and functionality.
· Collaborate on feature development and UI/UX priorities with Product and Technology
teams.

2. Scale Up of Quick Commerce Channels for Gritzo: Work with the Q-Com team to build growth
levers across product, sampling, comms & own the brand scale up for these platforms.

3. Category Management - Gummies: P&L ownership for the Gummies category within the
brand. ABM role will oversee work on product, communication, whitespace mapping, scale up on
online channels & influencer amplification for this category in collaboration with the support
functions.

4. Design and execute user-driven growth campaigns:

· Developing a deeper understanding of customer cohorts using first party user data from
D2C website & 3P data from Ecom sites.
· Work on user segmentation, engagement funnels & create hypothesis for growing these
cohorts/channels.
· Using A/B testing, product user data, and market research to form growth strategies for
the year.
· Understanding the end-to-end life cycle funnel and attribution metrics to form inputs to
the brand team to shape marketing and messaging.

5. Cross Brand Associations/Tie-Ups: Identifying new partners, opportunities to leverage their


network to grow Gritzo.

6. Create & monitor daily reports: Analyse brand performance, identify growth opportunities,
and track competition. Create Daily dashboards & streamline data in collaboration with the analytics
team.
