a. identify the different characteristics of healthy sexuality;

b. . express the importance of learning human sexuality

c. Participate actively in class discussion through answering the given

A. Motivation Direction: Listed below are characteristics which may or may not represent you.
Using any of this icon rate yourself and others. After you are done, fold the paper in
half and ask a classmate to rate you.

After accomplishing this task, compare your response with the


answers of your classmates regarding your characteristics. Are they
the same? Do your classmates see you as you see yourself? Reflect
on this matter.
B. Lesson proper Sexuality is best understood through the help of the people around

you. Sexuality refers to your perceptions, feelings, and behaviors


towards

others.

The way you see yourself is influenced by many people. It is


important to maintain good relationship with others. They will
support you and give you confidence, provide companionship, and
keep you from being lonely

Healthy sexuality encompasses the following characteristics:


Gender and sexuality are two issues that affect your life as a teenager.

These two concepts have some of the greatest impact on how you
view yourself and deal with other people especially with the opposite
sex.

C. Application Direction: In your activity notebook, copy the table as shown below and write

words or phrases that you associate with the words masculine and feminine.

D. Generalization Why is it necessary to love yourself?

Is men really superior compared to women?

F. Evaluation Direction: Write STRONG if the phrase refers to the usual role of
men, GENTLE if it is the usual role of women, NEUTRAL if it is both.
