While at Rainbow Ruiru resort, I lead the IT department in all endeavors to maintain the ability of the
hotel to manage client and staff records with an 85% improvement rate in the last two years. When
Rainbow ruiru resort instituted a new enterprise software solution to install an online Bulk SMS system
and Point of sale units together with new network infrastructure, I represented the IT department during
the research and planning phases. I coordinated with the project manager and the other department heads,
presenting the findings of the IT department on the feasibility of the implementation. During the
installation and transition period, I successfully managed the smooth transition for clients and staff
database and actively kept the server running 24/7. I also managed to install and configure network
devices and network the whole Hotel which entails a total of 123 guest rooms, 7 conference halls and also

A competent IT department handles technical issues promptly and capably. In my role as acting head of
IT for Rainbow Ruiru resort, I direct our team in its efforts to prioritize and respond to all submitted
questions and concerns. Security is a vital concern for any organization, and I ensure that our data
repositories are safely administered. I keep the IT department up-to-date on all current security protocols
and updates.
