Mechanics
Sci.MathCom Quiz Bowl
Three participants must be needed.
The topic must be first quarter.
The categories are easy, moderate and difficult (Easy-1pt.Moderate-2pts Difficult-5pts)
The easy and moderate round are multiple choice. In contrary, the difficult round is identification.
The easy and moderate round has ten questions while difficult round has five questions.
5 seconds given time foe easy and moderate round while 15 seconds for difficult round.
Science Activities
Egg dropping
Two participants must be needed.
Those eggs that didn’t break after dropping will be the winner.
Egg catching
Two participants must be needed.
Those eggs that didn’t break after catching will be the winner.
Barge making
Two participants must be needed.
It should be made of aluminum foil.
1 meter of foil will be used
The barge which carries more coins or small rocks will be the winner.
Poster making
One participant in every grade level.
The poster must illustrate, interpret and emphasize the theme.
All art works must be done on the spot and must be completed within the allotted time of two (2)
hours.
The poster must be done in free hand using the materials provided by the facilitator.
Landscaping (Volcano)
Two participants must be needed.
Materials needed are soil, vinegar, baking soda and empty plastic bottle.
The participants should explain their works about the activity (volcanic eruptions)
Math Activities
Rubiks
One participant in every grade level.
Each player will solve one cube completely.
Players should bring 1 cube.
Players are given 15 second to inspect before solving the cube.
For a particular round, each participant will have the same scramble pattern.
Players will be rank accordingly to fastest time completed.
Sudoku
One participant in every grade level.
The contest is composed of one round.
The times start immediately after the game facilitator announces the GO Signal.
The participants shall immediately submit their solved Sudoku and the facilitator will record the
time consume for each contestant.
Once recorded, submitted answered Sudoku will be considered final and the participants is not
allowed any further changes.
The facilitator says STOP as the time allotted to solve the puzzle.
Participants who failed to solved the puzzle with in the given time must submit their output to the
facilitator right after the STOP signal has been announced.
House of Polygons
Each section must consist of (3) participants.
Participants are required to bring their own scissors. Glue and scotch tape is provided.
Participants will be given two (2) hours to finish their work.
Output must be put in the illustration board.
Computer Activity
Typing master
Every section must consist one participant.
Each participant will be given a paragraph which related to the theme.
The times start immediately after the facilitator announces the GO Signal.
The participant who can type faster the given paragraph will be declared as a winner.
Mobile Legend
Each section must have 5 participants (Open for all)
