2. I fully understand that I am taking the possession of Laptop & its accessories along with trial licensed software
loaded in it as a student of GLBIMR. The Laptop will stand against my name and I shall abide by the rules and
regulations that may be framed by GLBIMR in this regard from time to time. I shall also adhere to the Do’s
Don’ts that may also be stipulated in this regard. I also understand that GLBIMR is the owner of the Laptop.
3. I understand that the initial warranty of the Laptop and its accessories is valid for one year. Thereafter, I
am responsible for renewal of the same at my cost for the second year from the insurer authorized by the
Institute through the institute only. If the warranty is renewed by GLBIMR, the cost will be charged to
me and I shall pay the same with my second year fee.
4. I understand that in case of any hardware failure, I will render it for service and repair to the helpdesk in the
Institute only. I fully understand that I will not get it repaired / serviced anywhere except the authorized repair
desk at the Institute.
5. The under mentioned Trial license software, have been loaded in the Laptop:
a. Windows 11.
b. Laptop Drivers
c. MS Office
6. These softwares are duly Trial licensed in the name of GLBIMR and I understand that I am authorized to use these
softwares only as a student of GLBIMR. I shall be responsible for removing or having them removed from my
system on my ceasing to be a student of GLBIMR or 31st May, 2026 whichever is earlier. Any continuation of
these softwares in my system and / or usage thereof shall be illegal and I shall be solely responsible for the same
including any legal repercussions thereof.
7. I undertake that I shall use my Laptop for academic purpose and shall not use the same for viewing and
downloading information, sites, and documents contrary thereto. I also undertake not to load any
unauthorized / illegal software on this Laptop and indemnify the Institute against any claims, financial or
otherwise due to any such unauthorized / illegal software on my Laptop.
8. I am also duty bound to produce the laptop for inspection if and when so desired by appropriate
authorities of GLBIMR, failing which the cost of the laptop may be charged from me in addition to
disciplinary action that may be taken against me.
9. I also undertake that if I leave the course before its completion or terminated from the Institute for
reasons whatsoever, I shall immediately pay to the Institute the residual money of the procurement cost
of this Laptop as may be due at that point of time.
