Small(EU37), Medium(EU39) and Large(EU41)

Yarn
Regia 4-Fadig (Colourway #1991) 100g (420m)

Needles
2.25mm (US 1) circular needles with 80cm (31”) cable for Magic Loop Method

Notions
Tapestry needle

Gauge
9 stitches and 13 rows = 2.5cm (1”) in stockinette stitch

Abbreviations
- k - knit stitch
- P - purl stitch
- c3r - cable 3 stitches right
- k2tog - knit 2 stitches together
- ssk - Slip 1 stitch as if to knit, slip another as if to knit, then
slide the left hand needle into the front leg of both stitches and
knit them together
- yo - yarn over
- n1 - needle 1
- n2 - needle 2
- rs - right side
- ws - wrong side

Instructions for working the C3R cable WITHOUT a cable needle​ :


1. Insert right needle into 3rd stitch on left needle, knit stitch
whilst keeping stitch attached to left needle
2. Twist right needle so that you can insert it into the 1st stitch on
left needle, knit stitch and remove stitch as you normally would
3. Insert right needle into the new 1st stitch on left needle, knit
stitch and remove as you normally would
4. Slip the cabled stitch that you worked in step 1 off of your left
needle, now that it is accessible.

The Cuff

Cast on 64 stitches using Long Tail Cast On (or a similar stretchy cast on
method). Split stitches equally over both needles, 32 stitches on Needle 1
and again on Needle 2

Next round​ : *k1, p1* repeat to end of round


Work rib as established for a total of 15 rounds

The Leg

Following the Togetherness Stitch instructions below, work 7 repeats of the 6


round pattern, ending the last repeat on R6 after completing only Needle 1,
ready to start working the heel on Needle 2

Note​ : At this point feel free to add or remove repeats to increase or


decrease the leg length of your socks

Place Needle 1 stitches on holder or spare yarn

TOGETHERNESS STITCH INSTRUCTIONS

Round 1-5
*k3, p1* repeat across N1 & N2

Round 6
*k3, p1, C3r, p1* repeat across N1 & N2

The Heel
HEEL FLAP
The heel flap will now be worked back and forth over Needle 2 stitches only

Row 1 (RS)​ : (sl1, k1) repeat to end of row


Row 2 (WS)​ : sl1, purl to end of row
Repeat Row 1&2 a total of 16 times, until there are 16 slip stitches along
side

HEEL TURN
The heel turn will now be worked back and forth over Needle 2 stitches only

Row 1(RS)​ : Sl1, k17, ssk, k1, turn

Row 3 : Sl1, k6, ssk, k1, turn

GUSSET SETUP
Part 1 of Needle 2 Setup​ : Sl1, k17, pick up and knit 17 sts along edge of
heel flap
Needle 1 Setup​ : Take stitches off of holder and work togetherness stitch
instructions across Needle 1 stitches as established (you’ll be starting on
round 1 here)
Part 2 of Needle 2 Setup​ : Pick up and knit 17 sts along edge of heel flap,
then knit across final N2 stitches

GUSSET
Round 1
(N1) work togetherness stitch instructions in pattern as established
(N2) k1, ssk, k to last 3 sts, k2tog, k1
Round 2
(N1) work togetherness stitch instructions in pattern as established
(N2) Knit to end.

Repeat Rounds 1 & 2 until there are 32 sts on both Needle 1 & 2 total

The Foot

Note ​: When togetherness stitch instructions is now referred to, you will
follow instructions for Needle 1 only and instead knit across all stitches on
Needle 2

Work togetherness stitch instructions until you have reached your desired
length or have completed the total number of repeats that match your chosen
size below :

Small(EU37) : 18 total repeats


Medium(EU39): 19 total repeats
Large(EU41) : 20 total repeats

The Toe

Knit 5 rounds

TOE DECREASES
Round 1
(N1) k1, ssk, knit to last 3 sts, k2tog, k1
(N2) k1, ssk, knit to last 3 sts, k2tog, k1
Round 2
(N1) knit all stitches
(N2) knit all stitches

Repeat Rounds 1&2 until 16 stitches remain on each needle (32 stitches total)

Use Kitchener Stitch to graft final stitches together at toe, then weave in
your two ends!
