GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS
Security Rules
Entry into all Edutainment venues will be allowed only on
a valid college ID card.
Any kind of harmful metal, inflammable or sharp objects
will be confiscated at the security point of every venue.
Items once confiscated, will not be returned.
No tagging of items will be done by Organisers.
Eatables/ Drinkables from outside the Edutainment
venues are strictly prohibited.
Cigarettes and other objectionable articles will not be
permitted inside the Edutainment venues.
Right to Admission rests with the Organisers.
The Organisers have the Right to Alter the Rules and
Regulations of any event without any prior notice.
Any vandalization or littering at the Edutainment venue is
strictly prohibited.
Edutainment is not liable for the mishandling of any props
or items. Participants shall handle it carefully and the
Organising Committee will not be liable for the same.
GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS
Note for CL’s
Every college can have a maximum of 1 Contingent
Leader (CL) and 2 Assistant Contingent Leaders (ACLs).
The Contingent Leader or Assistant Contingent Leader(s)
must have a valid (a) College ID proof or (b) fee receipt
along with
Government photo ID proof of themselves as well as all
participants representing their respective contingent
during their registration procedure. (The name, date of
birth, and photograph should be clearly visible).
Each College Contingent (CC) can occupy only 1 slot per
event except level 1 events
College name should not be revealed by College
Contingents under any circumstances.
At least one CL/ACL should be present at the time of
Main Registration and Re-registration.
Substitution will only be allowed at the Main Registration
Desk of that venue on the day of the event.
The CL and ACLs are required to email a passport-size
photograph of their CL/ACL ID cards to logistics
“contact@edutainmentshow.in” before the deadline
Each CL/ACL should possess their CL/ ACL ID card on all
four days of the festival.
Entertainment would not be liable for any kind of missing
objects
GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS
Note for Participants
All participants and Non-Participating Accompanists
(NPA), must be between the 15-24 age group.
Any kind of obscenity, vulgarity, or misbehavior will not
be tolerated and will lead to consequences at the
discretion of the Judges and/or the Organising
Committee.
Transparent and low-neck clothing is not allowed.
All props and other items used during the event should
be collected as soon as the performance is over.
Organizers do not guarantee the safety of the same.
Nobody except the technical personnel appointed by the
Organising.
The committee will be allowed to handle the technical
equipment.
College name should not be revealed by any participant
under any circumstances.
On The Spot Entries (OTSEs) can register for an event
only on the day of the event at the Main Registration
Desks. Slots are subject to availability.
Decisions made by the Judges and the Organising
Committee will be final and binding.
Non-Participating Accompanists (NPA) and Non-
Collegiate
Participating Accompanists (NCPA) are optional for the
events where they are mentioned.
GENERAL RULES & REGULATIONS
Registration Rules
The Registration procedure for events will take place at
their respective venues only.
The Re-registration desk will open two hours prior to the
event and will close 15 minutes before the event begins.
CLs/ ACLs must have a valid (a) College ID card or (b)
fee receipt along with government photo ID proof of all
Participants at the time of Main Registration a Re-
registration on the day of the event.
NCPs must have a valid (a) College ID card or (b) fee
receipt along with government photo ID proof at the
time of Main Registration and Re-registration on the day
of the event.
For events requiring NPAs/NCPAs, CLs/ ACLs/ NCPs
must have a valid (a) College ID card or (b) fee receipt
along with government photo ID proof of their
NPAs/NCPAs at the time of Main Registration and Re-
registration on the day of the event.
All Participants will be given a Proof of Participation
(POP) at the Main Registration Desk for each event
which has to be carried to the Re-registration Desk and
has to be retained till the final round of the respective
event.
Once the Registration Desks are closed, no requests to
open the desks will be accepted.

Registration Rules
Every CL/ACL will be given a unique User ID and
Password during the Contingent Leaders Meet, which has
to be used to login to the official Edutainment website
for the online registration of events.
Non-Collegiate Participants (NCPs) are required to sign
up at the website.
The website for Online Registration is
www.edutainmentshow.co.in The dates for Online
Registration are as follows: Registration for College
Contingents will begin on November 21, 2024, and end
on December 20, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.
Registration for Non-Contingent Participants (NCPs) will
begin on December 01, 2024, and end on December 20,
2024, at 11:59 p.m.
Slots will be allotted on a first-come come first serve
basis only.
Slots for NCPs will be subject to availability.
Slots will be confirmed after the Online Registrations
end, via mail.
Participants and Contingents must reach the venue at
least two hours before the commencement of the event.
The Main Registration Desk will open at 6:45 a.m. on all
two days.
The CL/ACLs must register their participants at the Main
Registration Desk at least 30 mins before the event.

REGULATIONS
Betting Rules
Only the CLs/ACLs can place a bet on an event.
Once a bet is placed, it cannot be altered or cancelled
under any circumstances.
Bet should be placed before 45 mins of the event
commencement.
CLs/ACLs can place a minimum bet of 50 points and a
maximum bet of 300 points.
All bets placed should be a multiple of 10.
No bets can be placed on Level 1 events.
CLs/ACLs are only allowed to place a bet on one
‘Flagship’ event and two other events from level 2 and
level 3.
The points kept at stake by the college will be doubled if
their participant wins.
On losing any ‘Flagship’ event, the college will lose
double the amount of points kept at stake and on losing
any Others event from level 2 & level 3 the college will
only lose the amount of points kept at stake.
The Scoring and Betting Procedure is not applicable for
NCPs and OTSEs.
Bets cannot be placed on Pre-eliminations.

Round 1 (Online)
To qualify, participants must register on the website and
submit a video of their performance via the link provided by
mail upon registration.
Performance Time: 2 Minutes
Round 2 (On-Site Performance)
This is the Showcase Act. The qualifying participants will be
asked to write and perform an RAP for their final showcase.
This must be prepared by the participant in advance.
The duration of the rap could range from between
45 sec – 90 sec.
Round 3 (On-Site Performance Finale)
Rap Battle amongst the Top 8 participants.
This is the faceoff round. In Faceoff, the finalist from Round 2
will freestyle spontaneously in a live battle, performing on
the same stage to see who has the better verses.
Each competitor alternates freestyling for 30 seconds in
each of the two rounds. After the battle, the judges will
decide the winner based on the majority vote and the judges’
score.

Shortlisted and selected participants will have to follow a
storyline from any Bollywood movie and depict it in the form
of dance.
Participants need to perform their routine within the
stipulated time of not more than 8 min at the venue.

alcoholic products on stage; violations will lead to
disqualification.
Teams must provide their own music and share it with the
Organizing Committee (OC) at least one week before the
event i.e. 15th Jan 2025. A backup on a pen drive is
required.
Defaming any person is prohibited and will lead to
disqualification..

day 1 of the event.
Manipulation of the Photograph that distorts the reality of
the images will not be allowed.
Participants must send raw files of the photos taken.
Every submitted photograph must be submitted with a
unique title and a befitting description, giving a
background of the activity.

Theme- Open
Each participant must choose one category each and
compete to produce a short video about it. The categories
are SPONSORS, DÉCOR, CANDID and EVENTS

Participants may cover either event, brand, human
emotions etc.
One Participant only shoots one category decided prior
to the event.
Participants will have to submit 2 reels of each day of
the event and a result will be based on cumulative
marks of both the reels.
DSLRs, Action Camera and/ or Mobiles are allowed.
The time limit of the video is 30 seconds – 1 minute.
Usage of all editing software’s is allowed.
The team to finish to shoot first, will get additional time
for editing.

will get only 20 seconds to frame their thoughts.)

humour are allowed.

Multiple entries are allowed.
There is no specific topic or theme for this event.
Each participant will have 5 minutes to perform, with
options including poetry, mono acting, singing, stand-
up comedy, Shayari, etc.
Participants with multiple entries will be disqualified.
Vulgarity/Obscenity is prohibited and will lead to
disqualification..
The decision of the Organizing Committee and the
Judges shall be binding and no objections will be
entertained.
PRIZES
Awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

grace period of 10-15 seconds.
Points may be deducted if the speech is too short or
exceeds the time limit.
The topic will be provided 15 minutes before the
competition begins.

Team Composition and Debate Format
Each team consists of two delegates.
The debate comprises a Preliminary Round and a Final Round.
Time allocation:
Preliminary Round:
Opening Statement: 3 minutes per speaker
Rebuttal: 2 minutes per speaker
Final Round:
Opening Statement: 4 minutes per speaker
Rebuttal: 3 minutes per speaker
Topic Selection and Assignment
Three topics for debate:
1. "Are the controversies surrounding the Paris Olympics justified?"
2. "Is the Bangladesh crisis a result of internal or external factors?"
3. "Should the removal of the creamy layer in SC and ST categories
in India be upheld as per the Supreme Court's judgment?"
Topics and debate sides (pro/con) will be assigned through a
draw of lots before each round.
Rounds and Advancement
Preliminary Round: Teams debate one of the three topics. The
top two teams with the highest scores advance to the Final
Round.
Final Round: Topics and sides will be decided by a draw of lots.
Teams will have 4 minutes for opening statements and 3 minutes
for rebuttals. PRIZES

RULES & REGULATIONS
1. Format
Sides: Each debate has two teams: Proposition (supporting the
motion) and Opposition (against the motion).
Speakers: Each side has 2–4 speakers, each delivering specific
parts of the debate.
2. Structure and Time Limits
Opening Statement (5 minutes):
Each team’s first speaker delivers an opening statement to lay
out their main arguments.
Constructive Speeches (4–5 minutes per speaker):
Each team presents detailed arguments supporting their side of
the motion.
Rebuttals (3–4 minutes per speaker):
Each speaker directly addresses the opposing side’s arguments,
aiming to refute them with counterarguments.
Closing Statements (3 minutes):
Each side’s final speaker summarizes the key points made by
their team and reinforces their position.

3. Rules for Arguments and Presentation
Constructive Points:
Each argument should be structured, with evidence and concise
reasoning.
Avoid irrelevant details; focus only on the topic and the motion
at hand.
Rebuttal:
Address key points respectfully made by the opposing side.
Avoid ad hominem attacks or personal arguments; focus on
logic and factual rebuttal.
Evidence and Examples:
Each speaker should use credible evidence to back their claims.
Facts must be verified, and sources should be briefly mentioned
if relevant.

4. Interaction and Questions
Points of Information (POI):
During speeches, debaters may offer short POIs (questions) to
the opposing side, which the speaker can choose to accept or
decline.
POIs should be brief (15 seconds or less) and focused on
clarifying or challenging a point made.
Audience Questions:
5. Moderation and Time Management
A moderator enforces time limits and maintains decorum.
The moderator can issue warnings or deductions if speakers
exceed time limits or deviate from respectful debate conduct.
6. Judging Criteria
Content and Structure: Logical structure, relevance, and depth
of arguments.
Rebuttal Effectiveness: Quality of responses to opposing
arguments.
Delivery: Confidence, clarity, and persuasiveness.
Adherence to Rules: Respect for time, decorum, and debate structure.

Teams participating in the pre-elimination round are
invited to showcase their creativity by submitting a
themed group photo for the fashion show!
The audio track must be mailed before the deadline.
Teams must bring their props for the performance.

entertained.
The judge’s or organizer’s choice will be final.

Rules & Regulations
Multiple entries are not allowed.
Props are permitted, and the corresponding list should be
submitted at the Re-registration desk along with the soundtrack
in .mp3 format only.
In case of tube tops, low necks, low backs and transparent
clothing, a body suit is mandatory.
The Judge’s decision will be final and binding.
Vulgarity and profanity of any kind will lead to consequences.
Exceeding the time limit will lead to consequences.
Entry of the participants, to and from the audience, is
prohibited.
The Organizers will not be responsible for any belongings/props
of the participants.
Interaction of the participants with the judge is prohibited.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to alter the rules
and regulations.
The decision of the Judge and Organizing Committee will be
final and binding.
