              Pattern Instructions
Notes: When you see stitches in brackets, it means that all the
ones in the bracket are worked in to one stitch.
Example: (sc inc) means 2sc worked in to one stitch.
(3sc) means 3sc in the same stitch.
       (3sc) x 2 means 3sc in each of the next 2 stitches.
Following the tutorial and using the recommended yarn, your
finished cushion will measure approx. 13.5”(35)cm circumference.
                    And approx. 5”(12.5) deep.

         Creating the Top Part
This part is worked in a spiral.
Do NOT join the rounds with a slip stitch but continue to work
straight in to the first stitch of each following round.
I recommend using a stitch marker.

Rnd.2: (sc inc) x 6 = 12sc
From this point on we will be working every row in to the
                    BACK LOOPS ONLY.
Insert your hook in to the back loop of each stitch (p1).

                                  Petal - 1
There are 660 free loops to work the petals in to. Rejoin the yarn in to the
very first loop (p1).
Petal 1 – is worked over 5 stitches - make 5 petals = 25 loops worked.
For the 1st petal work the following:
(ch1, 1hdc) in the 1st loop
(1dc, 1hdc) in the 2nd loop
(1dc, 1tc, 1dc) in the 3rd loop
(1hdc, 1dc) in the 4th loop
(1hdc, 1sc, slst) in the 5 th loop
For the next 4 petals work the following:
(slst, ch1, 1hdc)
(1dc, 1hdc)
(1dc, 1tc, 1dc)
(1hdc, 1dc)
(1hdc, 1sc, slst)
