LSPU ADMISSION GUIDELINES


FOR THE FIRST (1ST) SEMESTER OF AY 2025-2026

Instruction: Please read carefully the following guidelines to pre-evaluate the


qualifications of the applicant following the admission requirements of the university
and colleges.

For information and guidance, presented is the admission guidelines for college applicants for
the First Semester of Academic Year 2025-2026 among the four campuses, together with the
satellite and extension campuses, of the Laguna State Polytechnic University (anticipated start
of classes: August 2025).

These guidelines cover the following items:

A. ADMISSION SCHEDULE

 February 10, 2025 (Monday): Start of Online Application


 February 17, 2025 (Monday): Start of Admission Examination
 March 28, 2025 (Friday): End of Online Application
 June to August 2025: Interview Schedule, Medical Process, Finalization of Qualified
Students and Releasing of Enrolment Slip

B. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The requirements listed below should be in PDF format for uploading in the LSPU Online
Application System. The clear and readable documents to be uploaded will be verified and
serve as the basis of qualifications.

NOTE: No original copies of documents will be asked during the admission process. Please
keep them for the enrolment process.

1. College Qualification
General Weighted Average (GWA)
As stipulated in the LSPU Handbook 2021, the colleges may set their respective
qualifications on the general weighted average (GWA) of students to be admitted in
the program (board or non-board) in consideration of accommodation capacity and
standards. For the list of programs and their respective GWA requirements, please see
“Annex A” on page 4.

2. Documentary Requirements
 For First Year College (Freshmen) Applicants
a. Recent 2x2 ID Picture (white background)
b. Birth Certificate (PSA/NSO)
c. Certificate of Good Moral Character (with certification of current grade
level and school year)
d. Form 138 (authenticated) or Certified True Copy of SF9 (first semester
Grade 12 Grades/Report Card signed by Adviser/Principal)

 For Transfer Student Applicants


a. Recent 2x2 ID Picture (white background)
b. Birth Certificate (PSA/NSO)
c. Certificate of Good Moral Character (with certification of current year
level and school year)
d. Certificate True Copy of Grades

C. ADMISSION PROCESS

Step 1: Online Application. Accomplish the LSPU Online Application (portal:


https://apply.lspuonline.com/) Make sure to input true and correct information on
the required fields properly.

Step 2: Examination Schedule. Check email for the schedule of examination to be sent
by the Admission/Guidance Office. Note: Make sure that the email address to be
used in the application is correct and active.

Step 3: Admission Examination. Take the scheduled Admission Examination at the


designated Testing Room of the campus as indicated in the email. Bring the
authenticated Form 138 or Certified True Copy of SF9 (first semester Grade 12
Grades/Report Card signed by Adviser/Principal) for verification.

Step 4: Interview Schedule. Check email for the schedule of College Interview to be sent
by the College. Note: A college examination may also be implemented according
to the college’s standards.

Step 5: Interview. Attend the scheduled interview (and exam, if applicable) with the
College Dean or program coordinator/designated faculty.

Step 6: Posting of Results. Check the posting of qualified applicants by the


Admission/Guidance Office. Check the official Facebook page of LSPU for
updates and announcements (http://facebook.com/LSPUOfficial).

Step 7: Medical Examination. Accomplish the medical examination to be submitted to the


University Clinic. Requirements include the following: medical certificate from

accredited clinical laboratory, drug test, and x-ray. Note: Processing of medical
requirements is highly encouraged to be done with the University-accredited
medical facilities; however, other medical facilities are also accepted.

Step 8: Enrolment. Proceed with the enrolment on the respective schedule. A separate
announcement will be posted for the enrolment procedure.
