Size of the finished

1) Head to Tail - 5.5
inches / 14 cm
2) 1st Front fin to
2nd Front fin - 6
inches / 15 cm
The size may vary because of diffrent
tensions of diffrent crocheters.

Materials Needed
1) 5ply milk cotton yarn
in
colors light green (for
body) and brown (for
shell)
2) 3mm hook
3) Cotton
4) Stitch markers
(Optional)
5) Darning needle
6) Scissors/ Cutter
Abberviations
1) Sc - Single crochet
2) Mr - Magic ring
3) Inc - Increase (2 sc in one
stitch)
4) Dec - Decrease (1 sc in 2
stitches)
5) x_ - Repeat
6) R_ - Round / Row
7) Ch - Chain
8) Sk- Skip
9) FLO - Front loop only
10) BLO - Back loop only
11) (_) - Total stitch count
Use body yarn color for both of the fins,tail
and head.

Front Fins (Make 2)


R1: 6sc in mr (6)
R2: 6inc (12)
R3: (1sc , inc)×6 (18)
R4: (2sc , inc)×6 (24)
R5: (3sc , inc)×6 (30)
R6: (4sc , inc)×6 (36)

Close the fin by making sc on opposite sides.


Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Back Fins (Make 2)


R1: 6sc in mr (6)
R2: 6inc (12)
R3: (1sc , inc)×6 (18)
R4: (2sc , inc)×6 (24)
R5: (3sc , inc)×6 (30)

Close the fin by making sc on opposite sides.


Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
