MALEGHAST UPDATE 3

Added wording clarification at the start for what 'you' refers to in most abilities
Added a small recommendation for running most games on Loathing or Hatred
Abilities that trigger on hit are now more explicit
Some terms bolded for emphasis

New tag: Charge (cannot be used on first turn)


New tag: Large - used for tyrants, etc. Large units ignore the effects of elevated
spaces and cannot take cover. They are affected by terrain or other space based
effects that occupy at least one space of their total area, but these effects do
not stack on them.
New Pierce term (ignores armor)

Added caveat that splash effects also require line of sight


Change vitality and vulnerable to work in their previous iteration. You now discard
vitality or vulnerable after taking damage, even if it would not reduce or increase
damage. This allows stripping vitality with weak or multi hit attacks to be a valid
strategy to punch through units that have vitality + armor or other sources of
damage reduction. I think overall this is healthier for the game and I have
adjusted to compensate.

CARCASS
Enforcer's bone dust napalm now has charge
Ammo Gob's regurgitate ammo range to 1-2
Barrelform's death mark to 4+ and 6+ effect
Egis Weapon's mortar has charge and is now range 3-4
Egis' Juggernaut effect chance to 4+
Operator's hot clip no longer grants vulnerable
Operator:
-Gun Kata now pushes on hit only
-Grenade Jump now allows moving through foes
-Lv4 cannon has charge and +1 dmg on main target instead of splash vuln
-Sg88 must be loaded twice and has a headshot push increase
-double tap no longer ignores armor and is now own turn
-Unholy sixgun has a 5 damage cap.
-Bullet Sonata now explicitly requires line of sight

GOREGRINDERS

Pain Ghoul's Cauterize gains piercing


Carnifex's Rev has a 4+ retaliation chance
Warlord:
-Blood Drinker now clears 2 tokens
-May now spend speed tokens as berserk tokens.
-Slayer Axe now passes through walls if its special condition triggers

MOX

Wording fix for leech's Pandemic


Host's propagate swarm reverted to old version
Host's Driving Vermin no longer damages allies
Host's Driving Vermin now deals 2 damage on main target
Slight rework to Host's toxic avenger and defiler
Plaguelord:
- Slime Form has a 5+ chance to push or pull 2
- Melt now deals devil damage and reduced to range 3

DEADSOULS

Sacrifice's Beckon has range +1


Sacrifice's Trait now prevents them from clearing Doom and has a chance to Doom
their slayer instead
Vizigheist's Condemn upgrade no longer requires a unit to be doomed but only
targets a single 1 hp unit
Chosen's Tomb Raiser gains +1 range
Chosen's Serpent's Kiss deals 2 base damage but no longer gains damage on isolated
Foul Monuments grants increased max range
Bound Devils' Labyrinth Master moves all walls adjacent
Bound Devil's Hell's Grasp inflicts 2 weak
Bound Devil's Beckon Lamb only inflicts 1 weak but no longer requires isolated
New Dark Priest trait
Dark Priest:
- Doomblade now a 3+ effect
- Soulfeed now triggers off Doomed foes as well
- Vapor Form no longer affects allies.
- Tear Soul now Dooms units at 50% hp or lower, but has range 1-3
- Frozen Hell deals 1 piercing damage to units in adverse
- Disincorporate has increased range
- Eternal Curse now increases all negative tokens by 1
- Great Satania's Curse damage is now increased instead of being separate instances

ABHORRERS

Penitent's Holy Water to 3+ chance for a hazard


Zealot's Smite allows a MOVE but no longer grants step
Zealot's Suffuse changed: Smite removes a negative token from this unit
Zealot's Fiery chain has a 5+ chance to create two hazards
Antipriest's Gentleness no longer grants immunity to push or pull
Antipriest's Consecrate can now remove hazards but has a cap on removal
Holy Body's Bolides no longer ignores line of sight but can destroy walls instead
Holy Body lost flying
Holy Body's scathe change - now deals damage when bolides destroys a wall
Exorcist:
- Absolution cannot slay self
- Communion grants 1 vitality
- Holy Water Flail has +1 range but has charge
- Drifting Blossoms has +1 step base
- Merciful Snowdrop Cut now deals +1 damage at round 5 and 6 but requires that you
hit an attack

IGORRI

Stitches now mutate before their attack


Lycan's Bloodgorger reword to remove confusion about the effect
Chop doc’s leftovers always drops a corpse after MOVEing
Chop doc's Purge has piercing
Slight reword on Strigoi's Sin Eater to clarify effect resolution
Homonculus now always creates one corpse with flesh whip, with a 5+ chance for a
second
Chirurgeon:
- Rapid move has free movement
- Ancillary limbs now extends range as well as granting +D on attacks
- New Material now creates two corpses but only grants one mutate proc
- Slight reword on Mutagen Injector
- Final Form now grants +1 on all damage instead of granting strength

STEEPLEWRACKS
Owls' Sleek Owl upgrade now removes Large
Owl's trait name has been fixed
Haruspex:
- Call Flock has lost the ability to summon three flock
- Flesh Hunt lost 1 range
- Call Watcher owl now grants wall +1 hp instead of immune to damage and can be
used repeatedly
- The Rope now deals 1 devil damage
