identifying the three ways in
concepts (10 minures)
developing a concept.
Concepts can be developed through
definition, explanation, and
explication.
Again the uses of concept papers
are:
1. To interest potential funders
2. To develop potential solutions or
investigation into project ideas
3. To determine whether a project
idea is fundable
4. To serve as the foundation of a
full proposal
B. DEVELOPMENT
Discussion of new lesson A concept paper is either an
(25 minutes) extended definition or an initial
outline of a project
proposal. It does not only define,
explicate, or explain but is also used
beyond the
classroom. For instance, companies
now require concept papers for
projects before
certain actions are undertaken.
Grant-giving bodies require concept
papers from
researchers before funds are
awarded. Moreover, starting a
business also requires a
clear definition and explanation of
one’s concept.
