Recommended needles:
• 3mm, 3.5mm circular needles, 80 cm long.
• 3mm, 3.5mm short circular needles or dpns.
Yarn:
Garn studio Drops ЬаЬу alpaca silk color number 1101 white.
(Content: 70% Alpaca, 30% Silk. Weight/length: 50 g = approx. 167 m)
Amount ofyarn used:
100 gm (100 gm, 150 gm, 150 gm, 150 gm, 200 gm).
Gauge/Tension:
28 stitches х 34 rounds in stockinette stitch on larger needles = 10cm х 10cm
(take your time to get correct stitch AND round gauge. You might change
needles size to get the correct gauge).
❖ The spring ruffie top is atop down raglan knitted in the round.
❖ Neckline is shaped Ьу short rows.

Pattern:
Neck:
► With 3mm dpns or shorter circular needles cast on 72 (78, 84, 92, 96, 100)
sts loosely using long tail cast on. Pm and join in the round.
► Start ribЬing Ьу (k1, р1)* repeat from * till the end.
► Work ribЬing in the round till your work reaches approximately 4 (4, 4, 4,
4,4) ст.
► Switch to 3.5 mm needles, fold your work inwards and pick up the first stitch
in the cast on edge, lift it up on your left needle, k2tog, lift up the next stitch
in the cast on edge on your left needle k2tog, continue like this till you knit
all the stitches on the cast on edge together with the stitches on your left
needle.
► Divide for body and sleeves as follows:
Slip next 11 (12, 13, 14, 14, 15) sts (half back), pm, slip1, pm, slip next 10 (11,
12, 14, 16, 16) sts (sleeve), pm, slip1, pm, slip next 25 (27, 29, 31, 31, 33) sts
(front), pm, slip 1, pm, slip next 10 (11, 12, 14, 16, 16) sts (sleeve), pm, slip 1,
pm, slip last 12 (13, 14, 15, 15, 16) sts (half back).
Short rows (German style short rows):
Rowt: knit 6 sts, 1 turning st, turn, slip turning st.
Row2: purl to mid back, sm, purl 6 sts, 1 turning st, turn, slip turning st.
Row3: knit to mid back, sm, knit to next marker, m1R, sm, k1, m1L, k1, 1
turning st, turn, slip turning st. (work douЬle stitch as you go on every short
row).
Row4: purl to mid back, sm, purl to next marker, m1PL, sm, pl, sm, m1PR, pl,
1 turning st, turn, slip turning st.
Row5: knit to mid back, sm, knit to next marker, m1R, sm , k1, sm, m1L, knit to

Row7: knit to mid back, sm, knit to next marker, m1R, sm , k1, sm, m1L, knit to
next marker, m1R, sm, k1, sm, m1L, k6, 1 turning st, turn, slip turning st.
Row8: purl to mid back, sm, purl to next marker, m1PL, sm, р1, sm, m1PR,
purl to next marker, m1PL, sm, р1, sm, m1PR, р6, 1 turning st, turn, slip turning
st, knit to mid back.
► After finishing short rows continue working in the round as follows:
Round1: (Кnit to next marker, m1R, sm, k1, sm, m1L) 4 times while picking up
last 2 wraps, knit to the end of the round.
Round2: knit across half back, sm, k1, sm, knit across sleeve, sm, k1, sm, k4 (5,
3, 4, 4, 5), pm, work 6th row of lace chart according to your size (mark 1st and
last stitches of lace panel), pm, k4 (5, 3, 4, 4, 5), sm, k1, sm, knit across other
sleeve, sm, k1, sm, knit across rest of the back.
Round3: (Кnit to next marker, m1R, sm, k1, sm, m1L) 4 time (while working
lace chart at front), knit to the end of the round.
Round4: work in stockinette stitch while maintaining lace chart at the mid
front.
► Repeat Rounds (3 and 4): 12 (13, 14, 15, 16, 18) more times.
► Divide for body and sleeves on the next round as follows: k 28 (30, 32, 34,
35, 38)sts, transfer next 45 (48, 51, 55, 59, 63) sts on waste yarn, cast on 6
(7,8,10,10,11) sts using backward loop method, k 17 (19, 18, 20, 21, 24)sts,
sm, pattern next 23 (23, 29, 29, 29, 29) sts, sm, k 17 (19, 18, 20, 21, 24) sts,
transfer next 45 (48, 51, 55, 59, 63) sts on waste yarn, cast on 6 (7,8,10,10,11)
sts using backward loop method, knit 29 (31, 33, 35, 36, 39) sts.
► Now you will have 126 (136, 146, 158, 162, 176) sts for the body.
► Work even across the body sts (while maintaining lace panel at the front) till
your piece measures 12.5 (14, 16, 17.5, 19, 22.5) cm from division ending with
row 6 or 12 of lace chart and marking the 1st and last stitches of lace panel on
your last round.
► Switch to 3 mm needles, start ribblng Ьу k1 х pl for 2 cm, Ьind off using
tubular Ьind off.

Sleeves:
► Transfer 45 (48, 51, 55, 59, 63) sts from waste yarn to 3.5 mmm dpns or
short circular needles, attach the yarn at the start of the armhole (not the
middle). pick up and knit 8 (9, 10, 12, 12, 13) sts, k 44 (47, 50, 54, 58, 62) sts,
ssk, k 3 (3, 4, 5, 5, 5) sts, pm, k 3 (4,4,5,5,6) sts, k2tog, knit till marker
(beginning of the round). Total 51 (55, 59, 65, 69,74) sts.
► Knit 4 (4, 5, 5, 4, 5) rounds.
► On next round, knit till last 2 sts, ssk.
► On next round, k2tog, knit rest of round till marker.
► Repeat previous 6 (6, 7, 7, 6, 7) rounds 2 (6, 6, 7, 3, 6) more times.
► knit 5 (о, о, о, 5, 6) rounds.
► On next round, knit till last 2 sts, ssk.
► On next round, k2tog, knit rest of round till marker.
► Repeat previous 7 (о, о, о, 7, 8) rounds 2 (о, о, о, 4, 2) more times.
► Knit even till your sleeve measures approximately 13.5 (14.5, 16.5, 18.5, 19.5,
22.5) cm from armhole while decreasing 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, о) st on the last round.
Total 38 (40, 44, 48, 50, 54) sts.
► Switch to 3 mm dpns or short circular needles, start ribЬing Ьу k1 х pl for 2
cm, Ьind off using tubular Ьind off.
► Work the other sleeve likewise.

Ruffles:
• Right ruffle:
► With 3 mm needles, starting at the marked top right stitch (at the neck),
pick up and knit through the outer leg of the 1st stitch and across the
whole row in the same manner till you reach the other marked stitch at
the bottom end (make sure that the number of stitches you picked is odd
number.)
► Оп next row (WS): switch to 3.5 mm needles, (pl, pFB)*, repeat from *
across till 1 st is left, р1, turn.
► Row1: knit
► Row2: purl
Repeat previous 2 rows till your work reaches approximately 2.5 (3, 3,
3.5, 3.5, 4) ст, ending with WS row
► Bind off loosely using knit st.
► Sew the top and the bottom edges of the ruffle to the neck and the bottom
ribblng edges.
• Left ruffle:
► With 3 mm needles, starting at the marked bottom left stitch (at the
bottom edge), pick up and knit through the outer leg of the 1st stitch and
across the whole row in the same manner till you reach the other marked
stitch at the top neck (make sure that the number of stitches you picked is
odd number).
► Оп next row (WS): switch to 3.5 mm needles, (pl, pFB)*, repeat from *
across till 1 st is left, pl, turn.
► Row1: knit.
► Row2: purl.
Repeat previous 2 rows till your work reaches approximately 2.5 (3, 3,
3.5, 3.5, 4) ст, ending with WS row
► Bind off loosely using knit st.
► Sew the top and the bottom edges of the ruffle to the neck and the bottom
ribblng edges.
