• Registration Deadline: 10th Aug 2025
Rules & Instructions for Slogan Writing:
1. Slogans must be original creations of the participant and free from plagiarism(copy).
2. The slogan should be relevant to the given theme of the competition.
3. Participants are allowed to write slogans in following language: Kannada, Hindi and English.
4. Content must be positive and free from offensive, disrespectful, or sensitive material.
5. Each slogan should not exceed more than 10 words.
6. Participants are required to submit a minimum of three slogans and maximum up to five slogans.
7. The slogans should be written on an A4-sized sheet with neat margins outlined using a black pen or
marker.
8. Participants may use art materials like crayons, color pencils etc., to enhance their slogans.
9. The participant’s Name, Course, Semester, and USN must be clearly mentioned on the poster.
10. The total time allocated for this activity is 20 minutes.
11. Electronic devices like mobiles, laptops are prohibited.

Guidelines for Poster making Competition :
1. Theme Adherence
Posters must align with the theme of Anti-Ragging / Creating Safe & Respectful Campus Spaces.
2. All artwork must be original and handmade.
3. No digital designs or pre-printed images allowed.
4. You must bring your own materials such as:
Drawing sheets(use A3 size sheets),Pens, pencils, sketch pens, watercolors, crayons,
oil pastels, etc. (No 3D elements or sticking materials).
5. You will have 1 hour to complete your poster.
6. Do not include offensive or inappropriate language/images.
7. Posters must be submitted by with your Name, Course, Semester & USN. written clearly on bottom
right corner.
8. Electronic devices like mobiles, laptops are prohibited.
9. Neatness, creativity, relevance to theme, and clarity will be considered during judgment.
10. Each Participant can submit only one poster.

Essay writing Contest

Guidelines for Essay Writing:
1. Essay must be original and not copied from other sources.
2. The essay must be relevant to the competition’s theme or topic.
3. The essay should not contain any offensive, disrespectful, or sensitive material.
4. The world limit for the essay is 800-1000 words.
5. Each participant can submit only one essay.
6. The essay must be handwritten on a A4-sized sheet with neat margins outlined using a black pen or
marker (A4 sheets will be provided by department).
7. Participants can write the essay in any of the following languages: Kannada, Hindi, or English.
8. Name, Course, Semester, and USN should be mentioned on the top right corner of the first page.
9. The total time allocated for this activity is 60 minutes.
10. Electronic devices like mobiles, laptops are prohibited.

Quiz Competition Guidelines
• Theme: “RAGGING IS CRIME”
• Mode: Offline Participation
• Date of Event: 12th Aug 2025 (Tuesday)
• Time: 1:40 p.m Onwards (Afternoon)
• Last date for registration: 10th Aug 2025
Format of the Quiz Competition :
Quiz competition will be conducted for 100 points.
Round 1: Direct Questions
• Format: Each team is asked 4 direct questions. No passing.
• Time: 30 seconds to answer after the question is read.
• Scoring: +5 for a correct answer, 0 for no answer or a wrong answer.
• If none of the teams provides an answer to a question, zero marks will be awarded to all the teams,
and the quiz will continue with the next question.
Round 2: Scenario-Based
• Format: A short scenario related to ragging is presented on the screen. A question
follows, directed at one team at a time. Each team will be given 4 scenario-based
questions. No Passing
• Time: 60 seconds to discuss and answer.
• Scoring: +5 for a well-reasoned, correct answer. 0 marks will be awarded for a wrong answer
or no answer.
• If none of the teams provides an answer to the question, zero marks will be awarded to all
the teams, and the quiz will continue with the next question.
Round 3: Rapid Fire
• Format: 4 questions are asked to all teams. The first team to press the buzzer gets to answer.
• Time: The team must answer within 5 seconds of pressing the buzzer.
• Scoring: +10 for a correct answer, -5 for a wrong answer (for random guessing).
• If none of the teams provides an answer to the question, zero marks will be awarded to all
the teams, and the quiz will continue with the next question.
Round 4: Audio-Visual Round
• Format: Show images (e.g., anti-ragging posters) or play short audio/video clips. Questions
will be based on these visuals.
• Time: 30 seconds to answer after the visual is shown. This is a buzzer round.
• Scoring: +10 for a correct answer, -5 for a wrong answer.
• This round will have 2 questions and if a team answers incorrectly, the question is not passed to other
teams.
• If none of the teams provides an answer to the question, zero marks will be awarded to all
the teams, and the quiz will continue with the next question.
Tie-Breaker Round (If Needed)
• Format: A single question is asked on the buzzer.
• Rule: The first team to answer correctly wins. If they answer incorrectly, they are
eliminated from the tie- breaker, and the question is passed to the next team in the tie.
NOTE: The questions for first round will be General questions related to anti ragging and
questions for the third round will be combination of both General questions and Laws and
Guidelines.

Logo Designing Guidelines

• Registration Deadline: 10th Aug 2025
Rules & Instructions for Logo Design:
1. Logos must be original creations of the participant and free from plagiarism or copyright issues.
2. The logo should reflect and be relevant to the given theme of the competition.
3. Participants may design logos using symbols, icons or abstract design.
4. The content must be respectful, positive, and free from offensive or sensitive material.
5. Participants must design and submit the logo digitally during the event.
6. Each participant must submit only one logo design .
7. Only digital tools/software are allowed for logo creation (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, Figma,
etc.).
8. All participants must bring their own laptops for the event.
9. Participants must clearly mention their Name and Semester in the file name and within the
design submission.
