Like in Spanish, prepositions in English are grammatical elements

movement, direction or time. Some prepositions can have more than one use, such as
in, at, and on are used to indicate place or time. Prepositions have many
particularities.

There are five main types of prepositions in English: of time, place, movement,
location and some very tied to the context.

As their name indicates, prepositions of place manifest the origin, destination, or


location of something or someone.
