This is the best credit union I ever…
This is the best credit union I ever had and I have tried them all and I have found home this is where I'm staying not only has my credit went up with a great program that they have I'm saving money as well just over all very pleased with you guys.

I joined GBFCU for live Saturday drive through tellers--now they are going away! :-((
I joined Great Basin because there are Saturday drive through tellers. I drove all the way from north Reno to south Reno only to find out the tellers were removed and replaced by a machine. Then I drove to the west Reno location and though there was a live teller, I was told they are going away soon. This is not good news! Very unhappy.

Hello Eric. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and thank you for your membership. We'd really hate to see you go! I did want to clarify, that while our new machines use the term "video tellers", I assure you they are real live people helping you! In fact, they are the same tellers that you have come to know over the years - the only difference, is they now sit in an office and speak to you via video versus the antiquated tube/drawer method. We believe there are several benefits to this cool technology: 1) the contactless method is safer in a COVID world 2) no mask required 3) the teller helping you is dedicated to helping the drive-up and not being pulled away from you to help the line in the lobby 4) the machine counts all your cash and checks removing human error of the teller counting it 5) no need to clip your deposit to a clipboard so it won’t blow away 6) you can stay cozy in the comfort of your own vehicle as you speak to your live teller 7) you have the choice to use the machine as an ATM or speak with a teller! I hope this clarifies some of the features of the new technology we’re installing at our drive-thru lanes. If you still have concerns, please, please reach out to us - we'd love to dig deeper into the types of transactions you're looking to do at the drive-up and help you find the most suitable solutions if possible. I’m so proud to say I bank with GreatBasinFCU! I have only had great experiences with them! From settling fraud transactions, with no hassles, to getting me new cards when I loose mine! The employees are so welcoming and always make me feel like I’m a multi millionaire! (Which I’m Definitely not) I’ll NEVER bank with any other bank! Thank you!

Great Basin FCU should be a model for…
Great Basin FCU should be a model for banking nationwide, coast to coast. My wife & I have made almost every type of transaction you can imagine at GBFCU and they have always gone smoothly. I know everyone at my branch up on West McCarran by name and they all know me as well. I have been banking there since...well, before most of them were born! I started at GBFCU in 1983 and never had any reason to look elsewhere for my banking needs.
