Wish I had read reviews. HP printers are a total waste of money. BT software doesn't work and they charge a fortune for printer ink.
Strange how the printers arrive with the smallest amount of black ink. Never ever again will I purchase from them

Don't buy HP Products , very pathetic customer service, very rude customers support staff not helpful and visit the site even after complaining many times. we bought an ink tank printer just 4 months before and got printing issue, even after many follow ups & complain no one is answerable for customer issue/ support. I don't recommend to go with HP Products. Choose other company like canon or anyone else which has high standard of quality services.

Awful. Echoing other reviews. I have the HP envy 6430e. Can’t print without subscription with the instant ink, can only print a certain amount of pages with the lowest option and if you go over its £1.50 per 10 pages. Or you can buy separate ink at extortion rates. It’s a joke. Own nothing and be happy. Selling It and getting a normal printer I can just plug in and print. Spend close to £300 on this bloody thing. It’s a joke

Unable to increase left margin when landscape printing. Absolutely no help from HP. I wish I had never bought this printer and will avoid HP pruducts in future

I have had an Officejet 5520 for a few years and for the first year or two it worked fine. However, it now works only sometimes resulting in endless messages to tech support followed by time wasting trial and error until it will print a few pages for a week or two. I can't count the number of times I have uninstalled it and re-installed it for it to eventually work for a week or two. Re-installing can take a day or so before it is recognised and shows up on my Macbook. Once installed and working again it can take a minute or longer to respond after I click 'print' before responding. At the moment it has suddenly decided to print only in black and white despite having a brand new colour cartridge installed.
What would be a dream solution would be to find an alternative printer which you could plug in, connect and have it print on command.
I presume such printers exist?
Anyway I am printing in black and white for the time being so HP will save money on my ink contract since they won't have to send me any colour cartridges.

I pay for ink cartridge subscription to be delivered through HP each month and they suppose to send them before I run out and they never send them. I have to call them to get them to send them out but it is suppose to be automatic and they get smart when you call them to find out why they haven’t sent them and refuse to expedite them do to there errors.

I have intermitrtent connection problems. Now the printer wont connect with my PC. It has never been able to scan.

Paying for a subscription to a printer is crazy. Got a new non HP printer, because why am I paying an arm and a leg for ink as it is and now I have to pay you monthly. Crazy

I signed up for the all in one new printer plan. I had problem with cord and called to get it fixed…customer service was horrible!!! They could barely speak English…they kept leaving the call…I’m sure they were multi tasking….and would come back from the call and not know where we were!!! I’m sending it back!

Their customer service is none existent. All I wanted to know was how to change the print settings from Eco/Standard to Best Photo. But nobody wants to give a straight answer. So sad, not like HP of old.

HP (Hewlitt Packard) is PREDATORY. I bought an HP printer years ago.It requires apps that have you subscribe to ink according to usage. It doesn't matter how much I think I saved buying it on sale because I am paying about $150 annually for the privilege of using a printer I thought I had bought outright. Even worse, since this thing has been malfunctioning it sends signals back to base camp that I've used more ink and pages than I actually have. The latest monthly charge was around $7.
The little window told me I can't print unless I play ball so this HP shakedown machine is going straight into the trash. Also their tech support is inept, nothing personal, they probably don't pay them enough - but if you have 3 hours to waste give em a call. HP, absolute worst you can do. BUYER BEWARE.

Bought an Envy 6100e series printer to go with my new HP laptop. It has been impossible to connect this printer to my laptop. I have tried Wi-Fi Direct and also a USB cable to no avail. I spent over 20 minutes on the phone to an AI idiot which also failed to resolve the problem. Cannot return the printer as they will say it has been used. A LOAD OF JUNK.

My experience was terrible!!’ I have to pay these people to use a printer that I purchased!! so wrong if you have a good product, you shouldn’t have to make the purchaser pay you every month to use the product!!!
These companies are getting rich off of us!!!

I have a HP LaserJet that worked great for a time. Then I moved and brought the printer with me. Tried to connect to the WiFi; no luck. Google, YouTube, even HP's app all told me what to do. Doesn't work. Tried to get some help from HP's site. Customer service doesn't exist. Virtual assistant doesn't actually provide solutions. No phone number. So I have a piece of junk taking up space and have to pay for another printer. HP used to stand for quality. Now, it's just another crappy company putting out crappy products. Will NEVER purchase anything connected to HP again.

HP Tech support for my 9015e with their injet plan could not get my printer working and suggested I upgrade to the All in Plan with a new printer. He said I could return the printer if there were problems. When I received the new printer I could not get their system to activate. Tech support told me they had problems with their server and they would contact me when it was resolved. No one contacted me. I later called in again and told them I was cancelling the program and returning the printer. They said the 30 day trial period had expired and I would have to pay an early termination fee for a printer that never worked. I escalated to their managment and received the same answer with no explanation regarding their server issue.
Incompetence!

Scam company that sells overpriced ink that runs out within pages and awful printers that can't handle printing more than 1 page at a time

If bad could be worse, it would be at HP. $179 for ink ? Never again.

9/1/26 . It is like a ransom. We hardly print and then the printer will say a new cartridge(s) are needed. All colors, yet we rarely print anything other than black.

Appalling customer service.
Avoid like the plague.

HP are getting one star because apparently you have to give something but that one is far too much for what you get.
So way back when, my Dad gave me his Hp Printer, I never had a days problem with it, so when it failed at about 8 years old and I had to buy another, I wasn't fazed by buying another HP.
NEVER EVER AGAIN.
I have never had so much trouble with a piece of equipment that's supposed to make running a small business easy, to the point I have very nearly launched it every time I need to print.
I will say the Print quality is good.
I never had a printer that is as thirsty as this one I have literally replaced an ink cartridge 3 days ago and it has now run out and nowhere near the 120 pages its supposed to print have gone through,
I thought I was imagining it because I know this cartridge was replaced only a couple of weeks ago and barely any printing done, other manufacturers printers I have used and maybe replaced the cartridge 2 or 3 times a year and I actually print less now than then, as have much of my printing done for me at the local professional printers, but some things I still need to due its for personalisation e.g. addressed items.
I am actually now so fed up with this absolute waste of space in my very small office (I actually have a shop) and being unable to print, that I am going to now buy another printer from a different company, because it will be cheaper.
If you are considering buying an HP printer, think twice,
and don't use the instant ink if you do.
I spent over £600 with HP in about 4 months, I did run out of ink, and had to pop to Argos for more, so yet another cost. What I find most amazing of all is their way of calculating your need for "Ink" is by how many pieces of paper go through your printer and not how much ink you actually use, which they can measure because it has it in my HP App.

Update Have now purchased a CANON
