Worst service in the printing business!
I've been dealing with Epson at my print shop for years. Everytime I need service, the send an unqualified 3rd party technician who never fixes the issue and often creates new issues that shut my business down. Every time I've called for service over the past 5 years it's been the same issues. Then I have to spend weeks arguing with them over the phone, getting told there's nothing they can do but keep sending incompetent people to my business, paying employees to sit around and do nothing since the machine isn't working and having to refund customers and trun away sales. Just today the latest "tech" came through and caused a leak in my white ink lines and needs to order more parts to replace what they broke. They have the worst customer service and the worst technical service in the business and they charge at least $3000 everytime for the privelage of being treated poorly. Avoid Epson equipment if possible!!!
Update on Epson Multipack ink
Update on Epson Multipack ink. Ordered on 8/8/26 . After me informing Epson they had sent me the wrong ink, they emailed telling me to send it back using UPS, then Epson told me that they had not received the ink . After many more emails and phone calls i finally received the correct ink today 21/09/26, thats 6 weeks 2 days !!!!! The worst customer service ever , and they don't care either. I will never use Epson again
Forces you to buy new cartridges even…
Forces you to buy new cartridges even though you still have plenty of black ink left. Will never buy another Epson product.
I purchased an Epson eco tank 15000…
I purchased an Epson eco tank 15000 from Office Max about 1.5 years ago. During that time it was absolutely a terrible machine. We tried to make it work but it would say it was out of paper at random when it was not out of paper, and would sometimes print from our computers (both Mac and Windows PC). We unplugged, turned off and on, and cleaned printheads etc with no luck. I took it back to OfficeMax after several months and although they explained they weren't supposed to accept a return after that long they graciously did, but did not give me another receipt. After just a very few months the next one did the very same thing. We again tried to make it work. I called the warranty department and I would suspect since I have had 2 that have done the very same thing that they are aware of the problem. They should be recalled but instead after making me go through the steps we already had dozens of times they said they could not do anything without an updated receipt, which of course they know I don't have. I'm very disappointed-that is terrible customer service and illustrates a lack of business integrity.
Lack of customer support experience
The customer service reps answered the phone calls quickly. After explaining I had an Epson Ecotank for 7 years and just bought a new ET-2988 model the software upgrader would not finish loading. The three support reps had a fixed agenda on how to handle the problem but it didn't apply to my situation. They said they were outside and had many people around them making it hard for me to understand their Philippine accents. They were stuck on why my printer did not have a WiFi connection even though I told them my computer had an Ethernet cable connection to the Internet with a tested download speed of 18.7 Mbps. The printer used a USB cable to the computer just like my previous Epson EchoTank.
Epson Suc*s
What went wrong this time? Really? Your piece of crap ET-3850 is impossible to use. i just want to scan a document, all i get are error messages ans a suggestion to contact Google. Oh, right, hello Google? Can you help me figure out how to use this F'inf printer?
I have Epson, I hate Epson I hate Epson.
My second review for this piece of s***. I suspect more will come.
Epson's service is very bad
Epson's service is very bad, from my side it's zero rating, they don't value customers, it takes more than 7 days to get even one service done, Epson is very bad
Incredibly disappointing…
Incredibly disappointing customer service experience and of course product does not work. Wi-fi connection not working, couldn't get reimbursed, was forced to pick the option to send my printer back to get another one. They sent me back a refurbished not working again, in poor shape. Took 3 months overall. I'm running a business so have to buy another printer, not Epson for sure. Very frustrating to see how a company of that level take care of their customers. Maybe stop paying expensive ambassadors and start taking care of the people.
Extremely disappointed with the lack of…
Extremely disappointed with the lack of support when my ET8550 printer failed due to parts failure in the carriage. The printer was less than two years old, kept in a pristine environment and had little use. After recommending taking to a service agent the part needed we discontinued. “So sorry can’t do anything about it.” I will never recommend Epson. Ever!
don't waste your money
The XP-4205 printer is a piece of crap. Ink runs out within a very short time. I buy a new $37 black cartridge and it will not allow me to print anything, apparently it wants me to buy all the colored cartridges too. I spent a half hour talking to a Epson 'chatbot' on how to fix the problem and a box pops up that says someone will assist me...as soon as I give them my credit card number and consent to purchase a $65 a month service plan. Worst printer ever and they don't care, unless they can sucker you out of more money in the process.
AVOID: EPSON ET4800 PRINTER, Warranty and Customer Support
I expected better durability from the ET‑4800. The printer developed a fault in less than two years despite producing only around 600 prints. I am very disappointed in the printer itself. Epson support refused to consider the Consumer Rights Act and insisted my only option was a paid repair of £165 and courier at my expense. Their replies were scripted and avoided the core issue of reasonable durability. Not impressed with the product or the support.
I should have read the reviews
I should have read the reviews! Functionality on the printer has gone since the software update. No assistance is available except AI which was didn't help.
I purchased a WF-2950 printer/scanner
I purchased a WF-2950 printer/scanner. It worked until the original ink cartridges were empty.
I purchased branded replacement cartridges, and an error message appeared, which does not allow it to function. I emailed support and sent the requested pictures. They sent me a phone number. I called with the reference number provided.
A woman answered with a heavy foreign accent. It was very difficult to understand her. She instructed me to send more pictures (all the same as already sent) and then call back. I called back, and they insisted upon proof of purchase for the ink cartridges.
I paid for them with cash. I even sent a picture of them installed in my printer.
User's recommendation: If you have a problem with an Epson product, you will be sent to a call center.
Well the reviews score says it all!!!!
Well the reviews score says it all! Ordered 2 x packs of Epson ink. Received incorrect item. Contacted Epson who said they would raise an order for the correct item. That order was not received. Almost 5 months later I feel as if I am doing battle with Epson to obtain the correct item. There are delays with responses, any excuse not to supply the product and I am out of ink!!!
BOYCOTT EPSON.
BOYCOTT EPSON.
Just like others, the replacement printer does not work. All Epson printers are fit for the bin.
You know not to buy anything from a company who's CEO and Executive send customer service UK jobs to the ultimate abusers, South Africa.
Sickening.
My Epson 3950 printer quite printing…
My Epson 3950 printer quite printing after 5 weeks and after eight calls to Epson they still have-not replaced the printer. So much for their statement that with 24 hours after receipt of the damage printer they will ship a new one.
I believe they are hoping that with their delay tactics I will just go away.
I have heard every excuse under the sun from the Tech department and not once have they come thru with a promise they made.
I will never buy an Epson printer again.
We should start a class action suit against the Company.
There is essentially NO support
There is essentially NO support. If the installation "wizard" (which is NO wizard) doesn't work, you are SOL. There is no technician to talk to. I had much better luck with Brother. As for the XP3200, it is a disaster. The print quality is poor, and the cartridges are not only expensive but environmentally unfriendly. Run from this company.
Epson refuses to cancel an order of…
Epson refuses to cancel an order of less than $100 after I have spent thousands of dollars over the years on epson printers.
Epson! Never again!
Purchased the ET16650 model in March, epson has had to replace it twice to date. Worse decision I have ever made on a printer that cost me over a grand! I do not recommend Epson!
Epson set up a marathon
Once it is up and running, it is all OK. The problem is setting up. Standard time seems to be about 2 hours. No disc with set-up details. You have to go online and download the driver package. Search does not go directly to Epson, but you have to choose from a number of sites. Instructions in the box are A3 sheets covering every European language. The instructions for each language cover about 80 words with diagrams that are not too clear. Best set up system is to go to YouTube videos. Again, not 100% and best to look at a few. Setting up WiFi is a nightmare as no clear instructions anywhere. When entering password, no instructions to advise that there are four different screens with letters figures and symbols. Chat online is A1, One site offered support by phone. Call charge given as £8.00 a minute. Check YouTube videos on the model you want to buy first and see how simple they are. Only real benefit is that ink in bottles and a lot cheaper than cartridges.
