Scammed by rentola

I only wanted to find a student accommodation in bari.Since they don’t give contact of landlords without a 1 pound payment I had to take the trial .These ppl are SCAMMERS!!! .I tried cancelling it right then but it said it was only possible 24 hours later.When I tried then there was no active subscription in my account under membership .Just wow! But I received an email saying I would be charged 28 days after as it was a premium subscription which didn’t exist when I tried cancelling .Today my bank account has been charged without any warnings .SCAMMERS!I logged into my account too and still I dont have an active subscription to cancel !!! I’m gonna sue this company !!!Doing fraud and taking money from innocent people and finally acting all nice and kind .Anybody who wants to consider rentola in future ,NEVER NEVER pay a SINGlE PENNY to these FRAUDS !more fun facts: This subscription that never existed was also never under my apple subscriptions .never in my member subscriptions and they charge you without a single warning.These people are going to face the court.

My 1€ introduction fee activated a Premium subscription fee.

Having paid 1€ introduction fee by credit card I expected an activation notification prior to a subscription was charged to my credit card. A week later, without notification my card was charged for a premium subscription. I wrote explaining my circumstances, requesting a refund. My message remains unanswered that I was charged for a premium service for an introductory service. Beware, this company's procedures are deliberately evasive and make it virtually impossible to contact them.

Rentola just automatically charges…

Rentola just automatically charges people from their cards without any notice or emails. I was just charged twice without realising, and when I tried to unsubscribe on the platform it just kept showing "TRY AGAIN" on a red field on the website. So I thought I didn't have any active subscription. Now I just got charged the second time, total 78 euro for nothing. This is a scam.

a criminal platform

a criminal platform, runned by cheaters and thiefs. I subscribed for a free trial. Then I stopped my subscription inside the "free trial" period. I sent them an email, explaining the issue. Now it's almost one month, now reply! And today I saw they want to charge me again on my bank account!? People, don't spent a cent on this scam, please. Go to Pararius, where you find real rental places, and real real estate companies for free. Rentola is a SCAM!

I can say that I'm satisfied with the…

I can say that I'm satisfied with the final outcome. Although the solution wasn't immediate, the issue was resolved in a relatively short time. I was able to reach a representative who was very professional and addressed all of my concerns. Now, I'm happy with the service provided.

Best rental searching site in NL

first of all rentola is the biggest site that you can search for rent. i had issue about membership payment. i sent them mail and they responded very quickly and they solved my problem that is not expected. im very appriciated. i hope this site will be useful for other expats like me.

Negative and in the end a positive reply

Negative: It is very hard to contact the company. I wanted the stop my contract and the website said that I should receive a confirmation after 10 minutes, but i didn't get. No idea what to do then.
Sending emails didn't help in first instance, they automatically answer that you should check the website for FAQ (gr...). I got contact in the end and then my issue was very quickly solved. So I suggest the company to improve their communications.

subscription not cancelled on time

I forgot to cancel my subscription on time. I realised 2 days after the deadline I got chsrged for new period. The guys at service desk were kind to cancel it and reverse the charge despite of clear rules

Exceptional customer service

Exceptional customer service. Although they might not find you a suitable housing because of the current demand in The Netherlands. They definitely help look in the right places. And aside from their main service, their customer service was exceptional. I had some problems which they quickly sorted out for me within the same business day of me contacting them. Interesting to see how many fake…

Interesting to see how many fake reviews there are on this page, all 5 Star review are placed by people with a single review / or individuals that still complain but accidentally put 5 stars.

It is quite obvious this service is a scam don’t let the fake ads ruin it for you, the fact that they dare to say otherwise is truly disgraceful.

Having a company that openly scams people instead of using your easy-to-find website for a good and just as profitable means of business is actually horrible. I hope you will soon file for bankruptcy!

SCAMMMM

SCAMMMM! I subscribed on the 9th and cancelled on the 14th few days apart, but they still went on to bill me 39 euros, when I declined the bill, they sent my account to Intrum, a debt collection Agency with a charge of 79 euros adding 40 euros for legal cost, I think they are working together with this company to scam people, because the debt collection agency doesn't even check the validity of rentola's requests. Rentola has no Customer telephone line, so its impossible to talk with someone. This is a terrible company, do not subscribe.

Scammers!!! You will find NOTHING. Their website is full of links to other websites you’re better searching somewhere else! Crazy unfair subscriptions with additional fees!!! Thank intrum for this review because they’ve partnered with the scammiest money processing company!!!

one of the best accommodation website with a wonderful support team

I was looking for a room and checked a lot of websites before reaching Rentola.nl. Rentola has suitable accommodations in various ranges. I want to check the availability of accommodations because I need to move out in the next three months. Wrongly, I went through to create a premium account that was not necessary now, and with the help of one of the support team members, Hami," I could resolve my problem.

this site is a scam

This site is a scam and most of the high ratings are fake. they offered a free trial service and they say it is cancelable before the pay period starts. I cancelled it within the first day itself as the results in this site are simply results from other websites and you have to pay extra. Now the company forces me to pay even though my account is cancelled. DO NOT USE THIS SITE

Stay away from this scam website

Stay away from this scam website! They are the biggest scammers. They will make you pay 39 euros for bs and then if you argue they will forward your information to debt collectors who will harass you continuously. They provide no updates for subscription end and additional payment.

Fraude gemeld bij Stripe

Like all the others write: collecting money wrongly is their business model.

Paid 1 euro, cancelled. No confirmation so I emailed again. Turns out I paid via another domain after all. And of course they only respond when the 39 euros have been collected.

Stripe activated, chargeback requested. Customer service Rentola Ron does nothing.

To the rest: report your complaint to Stripe their payment processor. The sooner a block is placed on that account the better.

Zoals alle andere schrijven: onterecht geld incasseren is hun business model.

1 euro betaald, geannuleerd. Geen bevestiging dus nogmaals gemaild. Blijkt dat ik ineens via een ander domein toch heb betaald. En uiteraard antwoorden ze pas als die 39 Euro is geïncasseerd.

Stripe ingeschakeld, chargeback gevraagd. Klantenservice Rentola Ron doet niets.

Aan de rest: meld je klacht bij Stripe hun payment processor. Hoe eerder er een block op dat account gaat hoe beter.

Changed my mind

I paid in June and immediately unsubscribed but they insist asking for unduly payments. They are scammers. Even if I attached their mail of confirm of cancellation account and the proof of payment yesterday I received a mail from a society of credit collector.
Updated infos
I'm glad to change my mind concerning the service. They cancelled the invoices and everything is solved today.

NEVER USE THEM SERVICES

The website says that you can contact the landlords directly, which is TOTALLY LIE!

Once you've created an account, you'll realise that it's impossible to get in touch with a landlord.

The website is not explicit, nothing is explicit!

I cancelled my account and I keep getting emails asking me to pay 39 euros.

I am totally dissatisfied with your service.

There's no phone number, the e-mail goes unanswered.

Customer support is terrible!!!!!
The website is horrible!!!!
