Incomplete shipment and false advertisement

Ulta does not fulfill customer’s order to completeness. I had the worst experience. Promotion with gifts items and paid items are missing in mu order and ulta will not resend them to customers. They will just give a gift card with the value way less than what the gifts values supposed to be. I did not receive what was confirmed on the receipt which is very disappointing, feeling like it was false advertisement and scams. When a customer purchase the products with promotion, they already take into account if their purchase is worth the amount they pay for, so when ulta not fulfilling the order as promised that’s basically a scam. I would never trust Ulta again. This is how they loose valuable customers.

I should have read and reviewed these…

I should have read and reviewed these customers' reviews before I made a purchase. I ordered 6 items but only received 4. I contacted Customer service right away and she said someone in the escalation team will contact me within 24 hours via email. I waited for 2 days because I thought I called on the weekend so I should give them extra time to look into the issue. No one contacted me. I contacted them again, a different lady said nothing they can do about it then disconnected my chat session. So rude and nonprofessional. I will not shop with Ulta again.

Hair Stylist Nataly is a gem

I’ve had consistently excellent service with Hair Stylist Nataly in Clark, NJ. She’s professional, flexible, and easy to talk to re: what cut I’m looking for (a combo not always easy to find). She’s got a cool sense of style and a cool personality.

Still Here!!!!

I was waiting in line at the Tinley Park, Illinois store in order to buy some makeup, one cashier was waiting on a customer. Then a salesgirl goes around me, when I said something she told me that she was helping another customer. So , I stand there with other customers behind me and she signal customers to go around us. She did this twice. Meanwhile the manager greets customers at the door and helps someone with a refund. Then, ignores us and goes back to the door. Then, tells me she was doing a refund. What??? You left two people standing for 7 minutes waiting!! Really!!!

Do yourself a favor and order online

Do yourself a favor and order online, it is cheaper and returns a swift and easy. Do not except anything in the way of “service” or “management”. All Ulta can do is check you out and take your money. It’s a truly crappy retail environment. Completely MIA customer satisfaction experience.

Every time I order shampoo or…

Every time I order shampoo or conditioner to be shipped I end up receiving a box with half of my bottle of product in the bottom of the box! Even Walmart tapes the bottles so they don’t come open

Needed help for a specific issues and walked throughout the ENTIRE store for someone to help!!! No one was around. There was one person at the cashier and 3 others behind the front desk chatting. Did not notice that there WERE people looking for someone to help them. Finally walked out!!!

stop sourcing out foreign customer service

Website and app only allows you to use one gift card at a time. So you either have to spend your own money on the remainder of the order, defeating the purpose of a gift card, or you have to split your order up into multiple orders and pay multiple shipping charges on each.

BEWARE

BEWARE
When ordering online, using your credit card or debit card. The company will SAVE your credit/debit card to their system and will not allow you to remove your financial banking privacy info without having to go through literal hell to have it removed. No company IN EARTH, should take advantage of you and keep your information ie BANKING unless you specify you want it saved to their site. It took me over 5 hours of talking to chat via phone (who btw are SOURCED out to Asia) where they are unhelpful useless ID.IOTS! They will take your money meanwhile taking away JOBS FROM AMERICANS. I have to wait over 2 weeks before I get a reply letting me know if they will approve to remove my financial banking from their site. HAVE YOU READ THAT? They now OWN MY PERSONAL INFO AND HAVE HELD MY BANKING PERSONAL DETAILS HOSTAGE.

This is A CRIMINAL COMPANY, BUYER BEWARE!

Not a good experience at old saybrook…

Not a good experience at old saybrook ct store. Low stock on eye shadow?? But they said they can order it- weird. Looking at the perfume / cologne display was ridiculous. Why did they combine perfumes with mens cologne?!! I couldn’t tell which was which and it was hard to find anything. For shopping purposes, they need to be separated.

Ulta Beauty Rewards credit card

I got the Ulta Beauty Rewards credit card because it took $30.00 off of my purchase and they made it so difficult to pay I was charged a late fee. The website just didnt work and it was so frustrating. Talked to customer service and it still didnt work. The only reason Im giving 2 stars is because the customer service guy was very nice and genuinely tried to help. DONT GET THE CREDIT CARD

Very unprofessional work. Boastful awful hair stylist.

Lily Bilodeau is the worst by far. Liar. Boastful. Her statement about experienced hair stylist and over 20 years doing it is beyond laughable. And when tell her that the color is uneven she would get upset. When pinpoint to her the color you want she would contradict it, I get it, she doesn’t know how to do the color the customer want, for example you tell her you want light brown with ashy highlight she would then color your hair the color she want. And when you pinpoint to her that that’s not the color you wanted she will then get upset or make story up. What a disgraceful person. Never let this person touch your hair. Period.

Ulta refused to respond to the BBB!

The BBB has closed my complaint regarding Ulta Beauty, because Ulta Beauty refuses to respond to the BBB complaint. They have referred me to the Illinois attorney general, because they believe that Ulta Beauty’s behavior rises to the level of criminal activity. Beware.

My $250 online order was cancelled (not…

My $250 online order was cancelled (not by me) somehow, I called the store and mgr claimed nobody deleted the order. Upon calling customer service multiple times, I was given the excuse of 1) possibility of missing products, 2)problems with my card not going through. Except the payment DID go through. Nothing solved, instead customer error was to blame and I was told to call my bank and tell them this order was cancelled. Ulta, you lost a long time customer over your rude employees and nonexistent customer service

Filthy

Filthy, unkempt, unsanitary conditions abound at the Ulta Beauty, at the Rim, in San Antonio, Texas. Furthermore, their stylists are unkind, unaccountable, and VERY passive aggressive. They strike me as envious, miserable people who are desperate to pull trusting clients down to their very low level. My hair was given an unasked for horizontal stripe by Alonzo, and it took Chandra three appointments to do what 10 minutes with a competent stylist would have solved, if she had actually tried. The selfishness of these people astounds me. The last time I was there, I was harassed for using fresh, clean puppy pads to act as a barrier between my service dog and their filth. Additionally, the stylists are poorly socialized, and spend the entire time talking about themselves, cutting off customers, and acting like a swarm of narcissistic brats.

Why shop Ulta?

In the monrning's mail I received a coupon for 20% off and offer of free throw or robe. I immediately went to the Patriot Place store and all out of robes. Of course the offer signs are all around the store. Talk about baiting the consumer. The check out clerk was haughty, mumbling "as supplies last." So I walked out without any purchases. Also tried the Westwood MA store and no robes or throws there and got the same "as supplies last" comment. Conclusion, ignore the post card offer and shop elsewhere where supplies last more than two hours after receiving the mail.

Absolutely the worst customer service

Absolutely the worst, untrained customer service. I received canned responses to my emails. Bait and switch. They offer a "mystery gift" and the gift MYSTERIOUSLY disappears at checkout. It's apparent by the grammar that the "guest services" people are in another country. I'll stick with Sephora and Sally Beauty. They have exceptional customer service.

Unprofessional, Clueless Company

I've been in IT & e-com for 30 years+. This place is an epic fail. Besides the UX and crap code on their site and the app, they have no concept of e-comm best practice. They are skirting Attorney General territory at this point. Returns with proof of delivery that aren't acknowledged or accounted for under account/purchase history. Then to be told it will take 30 days to see my refund reflected on my card. WHAT? ON WHAT PLANET? They're running an offshore call center that doesn't know the difference between UPS & USPS, among other things. I WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT MAKE ANOTHER PURCHASE FROM THIS PLACE. They deserve to go out of business. I will get my refund one way or another because now I'm going to issue a charge back.

Less than average

It seems as if the management cares nothing about customers. They are rude and uninterested in what's going on in the store. Additionally, I've made a couple of purchases only to have to return the item to the store upon opening, discovering that the product had been used and returned.
