Materials
Materials,(BotWBreath of the Wild | TotKTears of the Kingdom | AoIAge of Imprisonment)[1][2][3] also known as the Material List,(TFHTri Force Heroes)[4] or Material,(AoCAge of Calamity)[5] is a recurring interface in The Legend of Zelda series.
Overview
Tri Force Heroes
The Material List is viewed by speaking to Madame Couture's Apprentice inside Hytopia Castle. It displays the icons of all the Materials owned or encountered by Link on the bottom screen, spread over several scrolling pages. Any Materials presently or previously owned by Link include the number of them in his possession. Materials that he has seen in Levels or at the Street Merchant, but never owned, have their icons faded. As-of-yet unknown Materials are replaced by a question mark. When a Material is selected on the bottom screen, the top screen displays its description and the primary location where it can be found.
Link can also view the Material List by pressing the "Material Hint" button while viewing the Catalog. This version highlights any Materials needed to purchase the Outfit he has selected.

Breath of the Wild
Materials is a submenu of the Inventory that Link can access at any time. From this menu, Link can view all Materials that he currently possesses. Pressing the Y Button will organize the Materials by type.[6] He can also directly select certain Materials to eat them and regain a small amount of Hearts.[7] By either selecting Materials or pressing the X Button, Link can pull Materials out of his Inventory and hold them.[8][9]
