Very pleased with removals with Ambrose from Southern Spain to the UK.

We cannot thank Ambrose Logistics enough, for looking after us during our move from the UK to Spain.
The service we received from them was exceptional!
Our move was complicated and challenging, involving a lot of heavy items, and nothing was too much trouble.
Their professionalism throughout the whole process, was first class; communication was always excellent; and they are trustworthy and reliable.
What’s more, they are extremely proactive, and don’t see problems, just solutions - a rare skill these days!
And as if that wasn’t enough, they are a fabulous team and a real pleasure to work with.

Joe got in touch to let us know he was waiting for Brad & team and then they literally sprang into action on arrival to us at 1pm on a very hot Saturday afternoon.

The care, strength and positive attitudes these guys gave us was uplifting. We had plenty of flights of stairs and steps, they made it appear easy.
Our heaviest and larger items they negotiated over an upstairs terrace railing as they would not go up the stairs.
Determined to make it work, tying & untying various straps. Nothing was broken or damaged, no complaints that I own the heaviest dining table and insisted on shipping over my new glass door washing machine.
I had lots of glass items and they are all in perfect condition after such a long journey with 3 different lifts.
A special mention for Davide, he really is an incredible worker.

Your expertise and business has been a pleasure to deal with Matt, you should be proud.

Would thoroughly recommend Ambrose Logistics, a very friendly bunch of people and their prices are very competitive, their removals team is a sight to behold whilst in action - especially Harry! - and collection and delivery on time. We moved from Cambridgeshire to Almeria with a couple of months storage of our belongings and furniture and it cost less than other companies were going to charge just for the move!, will use them again when the time comes

The people doing the actual moving were nice. The company over-promised, under-delivered, were dismissive and refused to pay for cleaning after my "blanket wrapped" furniture arrived dingedm ripped, and filthy. The mover himself said the blankets were dirty. The office denied this. I am left with 2-year old upholstered furniture that needs completely steam-cleaning. They also basically took my possessions hostage after I had paid an not inconsiderable fee for my move (they were not the cheapest by far and were upset by my "tone" when they would not deliver, so I would have had to pay to stay i a hotel. They did shuffle things around, but boy, what an awful experience.

Fantastic company, family-owned, excellent communication. We've used them twice already (UK to Spain, Spain to France) and now going for a third time, France back to the UK. Incredibly knowledgeable and all our belongings arrived safely. Can't recommend more highly!

Second time using this company. Initially they moved the content of a 4 bed house from UK to Spain and recently I asked them to move some bulky target furniture I bought in the uk to my home in Spain. Both times, the contact was perfect, great price and nothing damaged. Very very helpful people who are always keen to find solutions to any problem and come across as genuinely nice. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and will no doubt use again in the future.

Absolutely fabulous service everyone in the supply chain went above and beyond what we were expecting. Slight hiccup at customs but Ambrose did everything they could to keep us updated. All items arrived Un damaged even a total Spanish power outage didn’t detract from their service. Will definitely use again later in the year when the remainder of our furniture comes out to Spain

I went searching for a trustworthy company to handle moving my furniture from the UK to Spain and Ambrose Logistics shouted out to me as being reliable, trustworthy and competitively priced.
I had a few telephone converations with the staff, who were always extremely helpful navigating me through the minefield of foreign paperwork and guiding me through the complexities of overseas dealings. The furniture arrived promptly, in fabulous condition. I have no hesitation in recommending Ambrose Logistics for your property move and also specifically for overseas transportation.

From start to finish, Ambrose logistics were absolutely fabulous. They making moving abroad so much less stressful. They help with the forms you have to fill in and really guide you all the way.
Every email with questions is answered swiftly and nothing is too much for them.
We had problems with our house not being ready and even that was solved by putting our items in storage until we could receive them.

I had some household items that needed shipping to Spain quickly, I contacted Ambrose Logistics who talked me through the process and completed all documentation, items where shipped within a couple of days, Great service great team I would highly recommend them.

Fantastic company, very professional. Since I have been living in spain I have used them regularly and we can't fault them from Hayley in the office and the paperwork to Joe the driver. They have bought over for me many breakable items and not one thing broken. They fully deserve five stars.

After careful consideration I chose to use Ambrose Logistics for my move from Leicester to Almeria.

Uk to Spain May 2025 . Booking the move was very easy and I was helped by office staff with how to fill paperwork for customs .the moving staff were efficient and friendly . I did a walk through at the start so they could see where all items were but in-fact they forgot the larder so had to return another day to collect that stuff . The biggest problem came with the people who delivered into my storage room ( I presumed this was a driver and man from Ambrose as was not told any different) but in-fact it was a local agent called Jules McCabe) My items were literally thrown in! When I advised Ambrose that I would have to pay other people to come and take everything out and then repack I had a abusive call from Jules (I had sent photo evidence of the ‘packing’) I was told he would come to look at it but as a lone female I did not feel safe being with such an abusive person. I had to pay €100 for 2 other men to empty the storage and we found numerous cardboard and plastic boxes broken, my seed propagator broken. So I had to replace all the boxes and payment to the two men myself (so far have been unable to replace the seed propagated here in Spain. When I informed Ambrose they just didn’t seem to care that I had to pay now €155 extra because of their agents. My contract was with Ambrose, I had no idea they used local agents. In a previous move to Spain over 10 years ago into storage once again, I had no breakages at all and it was a pleasure but Ambrose have turned out to be a bad choice and in all honesty I cannot recommend them. I have photographic evidence of the damage .

I have used Ambrose Logistics twice now to ship items to Spain and I have a third delivery from the UK to Spain booked for November. I found the whole experience using this company from booking to the actual delivery, excellent. The office staff were knowledgeable, courteous and efficient and their driver was friendly and helpful. Also their prices were competitive. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

We used Ambrose Logistics to help us move from the UK to Spain. The whole experience in using them was simply excellent.
This included their strong and rapid response communications, superb packing of our furniture/ornaments/equipment etc including all of our fragile items and finally the quick shipment and safe arrival of all our goods.
This has been our 14th home move and Ambrose has been the best removal company we have experienced and we highly recommend them.

My Dad used this company to move from Spain back to the UK. He found the office staff very helpful and reassuring. The collection went well with the help of neighbours.
His dining table was delivered broken as was his bed. His curtain poles were missing, found in Spain and delivered broken at a later date. They are in the bin.
As dad has started to unpack he has found more and more missing, glasses, cutlery, crockery, ornaments and picture frames broken, the list goes on. Both of us have had communication with the the office and initially told it was after 3 months and too late to claim. We pointed out that this was incorrect and then told the stuff was delivered to an unsecured site. They knew that because the driver took a video. That's when I messaged to explain the onsite security, businesses on site, dogs on site and gates which are locked at night. I also let them know that I knew about the video that the driver took and the 'rude' message he sent with the video. I had found that extremely disrespectful.
The company have refused point blank to compensate my Dad. As a family we have decided to not bother with court action but do want to make people aware of the way complaints are dealt with by this company. I would not recommend Ambrose Logistics and would advise people to think carefully before letting them carry your precious belongings.

Thank you to ambrose for finally admitting its a true review, I had to send invoices to trustpilot as they tried to deny it.
My Dad has Been telling Ambrose things were not right since delivery, reviews were only left when we had exhausted all other options. I have only one account and have only left one review. Family and friends who have seen my Dad's distress have also left reviews. Ambrose have failed us and I hope this review makes others think carefully before using this company. My Dad was given £100 for the damage to his table after being told to put 2nd hand value on it. He didn't know any better. He will never replace that table for the same quality with £100. The bed was destroyed as were curtain poles that arrived after being left in Spain. Finally the delivery site is completely secure with security and dogs on site as well as locked iron gates at night. There are also security cameras. Ambrose have been Informed of this but keep repeating the same silly things. Beware of using Ambrose.
