En fantastisk tid for mine nye stoffer. Jeg mottok denne splitter nye boken av forfatter Ayse Westdickenberg fra Stiebner-Verlag.

Boken er på tysk med detaljerte instruksjoner for ulike syteknikker: for eksempel fletting eller synlig knappestolpe...

A wonderful time for my new fabrics. I received this brand new book by author Ayse Westdickenberg from Stiebner-Verlag.

The book is in German with detailed instructions for various sewing techniques: for example braiding or visible button placket...

I utgangspunktet er det et sykurs med illustrerte trinnvise instruksjoner for 12 syteknikker på 12 måneder. Så hvis du vil, kan du følge boken i over ett år og deretter ha 12 koordinerte plagg – det kalles Capsule Wardrobe –

Basically it is a sewing course with illustrated step-by-step instructions for 12 sewing techniques in 12 months. So if you want, you can follow the book for over a year and then have 12 coordinated parts - in the Capsule Wardrobe - 

The term appeared in American publications as early as the 1940s, and was revived in 1970 by London boutique owner Susie Faux... and popularized by American designer Donna Karan in 1980. The Capsule Wardrobe is a small collection of clothing items that can be together in a variety of ways, it containing everything you would normally wear... "small and compact"... all of those pieces to mix and match.

Hvis du elsker minimalistiske klær, er denne boken for deg. Men også de som liker rikt illustrerte syanvisninger eller kronologiske sekvenser av sykurs er på rett vei, for det er syanvisninger for hver måned, slik at det til slutt blir sydd 12 nye plagg som kan kombineres med hverandre.

Mønstrene er i størrelse 34 - 48 i original størrelse som innstikk i boken.

If you love minimalist clothing, this book is for you. But you're also right if you like richly illustrated sewing instructions or chronological sequences of sewing courses, as I said, there are sewing instructions for each month, so that at the end there are 12 new pieces of clothing that can be combined with each other.

The patterns are in sizes 34 - 48 in original size as an insert in the book.

Vakre farger, fantastiske teksturer 

Everything is so colourful

and i really like it especially the possibility that i can purchase it and craft something of my choice... ahhh... 

... to ganger i året er det dette stoffmarkedet i byen Dresden/Deutschland med ca 120 boder... stoffer og alt du trenger for å sy.

Jeg har nylig begynt å sy klær og vesker og du kan forestille deg hvor fantastisk det er for meg å være på et marked som dette, spesielt du møter mange likesinnede... det er en fantastisk atmosfære og alle drømmer om å sy noe vakkert... 

... twice a year there is this fabric market in the city Dresden/Deutschland with about 120 stalls... fabrics and everything you need for sewing.

I've recently started sewing clothes and bags and you can imagine how wonderful it is for me to be at a market like this, especially since you meet a lot of like-minded people... it's a wonderful atmosphere and everyone dreams of making something beautiful ...

Siden Altmarkt bygges i sentrum, ble markedet holdt i en mindre park... det er en rad med 30 boder til høyre!!! og 30 boder igjen!!! langs, dvs. du går i midten --- dessverre er det ingen kafeer der som i sentrum --- så jeg tok med meg en minipiknik... så etter 60 står den første kaffen fra den lille termosen min :-)) 

Since the market in the city center is under construction,

"my" market was now held in a smaller park... a row of 30 stalls!!! right and 30 more booths!!! left, i.e. you walk through the stands in the middle. Royal! Don't want to succumb to temptation! --- unfortunately there are no cafes there like in the center --- so I brought a mini picnic... so after 60 traders the first coffee from my small thermos flask, I need that too :-) was a treat.

an excellent coffee trolley and next to it a sausage stand with a long line... guess who was in line... unfortunately my husband wasn't with me... well, I knew that... that's why I brought my favorite thermos with me

så de neste 60 bodene... og jeg kan fortelle deg at det var en fornøyelse.

Jeg drakk min siste kaffe i parken ved siden av og det var fantastiske italienske brød på togstasjonen før jeg dro hjem.

Before heading home, I ate this wonderful Italian bread at the train station...

They can stay a little longer...

Disse eggene er laget ved hjelp av voksreserveteknikken - batikkteknikk. I flere omganger duppes mønstre og symboler på egget med voks. Innimellom dyppes egget gjentatte ganger i forskjellige fargebad.

These eggs are made using the wax reserve technique - batik technique. In several rounds, patterns and symbols are dabbed onto the egg with wax. In between, the egg is repeatedly dipped into different color baths.

Været viste seg å være mye bedre enn jeg frventet til påske, så vi kunne ta noen fantastiske turer.

We got wonderful weather over Easter so we were able to do some tours outside...

it was a delight.

I dag har vår yngste prinsesse bursdag... Jeg lagde en Pasteles de Arroz 

til hennes ære... litt modifisert i retning tarte au citron... 

Today is our youngest princess's birthday... I made a Pasteles de Arroz in her honor... slightly modified in the direction of Tarte au Citron...

Happy Easter greetings 

First of all, my second summer blouse with a collar is sewn and I'm working on a dress and a bag :-))) yipp... I'm happy.

Jeg har sydd min andre sommerbluse med krage og holder på med en sommerkjole... åh, det er fint å jobbe med saks og symaskin :-))

There are slits on the side and I used the whole fabric so the blouse is a nice length. 

I think I'll wear them with trousers with a skinny leather belt. 

Here are some nice photos from the nearby nursery... it's a pleasure to walk there in spring.

I just pulled this one out of the oven - quark cake with raisins - that's what we have for coffee today. I like coffee with cake.
