Update about blog

The joy of waking to this view each morning is just so wonderful. Even if the camera sees all the distortions from the window screen, I easily ignore them. Many of these green trees stand near or by the Animas River which flows through the town.

The bear walked into the woods

My sharp eyed grandchildren saw him sauntering past the deck...so he was on the gound and we were a floor above him...looking out windows! I ran to the front porch, and sure enough he walked on by.

He wasn't full grown, and looked a bit thin for a bear. Perhaps he'd been sent out on his own when his mother had new cubs.

I don't know if my videos will work. I've never had success at loading my own videos, though I could do YouTube. One of these is a MP4 and the other a MOV.

Today's quote:

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has. -Margaret Mead, anthropologist (16 Dec 1901-1978)
