Headed out of #SFO today. Just on the other side of the #TSA checkpoint (where OF COURSE I got pulled aside for a patdown) there were some sleek-looking #dispensers promising "chilled #water." I spent about 2 minutes trying to get the touchless system to work. Followed "Place hand in front of sensor" about 15 different ways. No dice. Most of the people around me couldn't get the interface to work either, though every now and then a #techbro lucked out.
Now I'm filling my water bottle from a bog-standard bottle filler next to the bathroom. High tech wastes time when it isn't intuitive or just plain doesn't work.

The “checks” were FAKE. The bonus is a LIE - virtually no TSA officers who worked without pay with perfect attendance - and ate from food banks - are getting the $10k. It’s a LIE that recipients are recommended by local leaders. Local leaders have NO information, and there’s NO criteria used.
