Congratulations

 When I was doing some tidying, I found this one already printed out with the image and sentiment.  All that was needed was to find a paper and colour and embellish.  I don't know if my original intention was to create a slimline card or not but since the size was right for one, that's what I created.

I have used a digital paper from Vintage Digital.  The image is from Stitchy Bear Stamps and the sentiment is from Eureka Stamps.  Coloring is with copic markers.  I also added some ric-rac braid across the white space between the image and sentiment.

Thinking Of You

I found this image with this paper in my Awaiting Crafting box so decided to pull the colours from the paper to colour it (which was probably my intention in the first place).  I added a few die-cuts that also matched the paper. 

This card is from yesterday when it was pouring with rain all day.  While it isn't raining at the moment, the sky looks like it isn't far away so probably more crafting again today unless I be good and do some housework.

We are at the midway point of the March Challenge at 12 Months of Christmas.  This month the theme is things that fly eg. santa's sleigh, reindeer, winter birds, angels.

I found a container of some offcut papers that I got a few years ago and forgot about.  They are all different sizes but this particular one was large enough for a card front.  It worked really well with the image from Eureka Stamps.  The sentiment is from QKR Stampede.  I couldn't find it in the shop so I think it must have been discontinued at some point.  Colouring is with copic markers.

I have used a digital paper and image from Gecko Galz.  The sentiment is from Eureka Stamps.  I also inked the sentiment with Distress Ink Walnut Stain to remove some of the stark whiteness.  I added some lace and pearl brads.

I also replaced the circle with the fussy cut image and the bow with a sentiment.

I have used two digital papers from Spyders Corner and used the Scrappy Strip Technique to create the background.  This is a really good technique for using up scrap papers and you can used a number of them or just two like I have on the card.
