Always Beside You

Midway Inspiration for the April Challenge at Path of Positivity.  The optional twist for April is The Power of Words: Love/Relationships.

The first image is the wedding, the second is leaving for Honeymoon and the third on the honeymoon.

I have used a digital paper from PixelScrapper.  I used images by From The Heart Stamps, Nutcrafters, and Scrap Happy Paper Crafter.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I also added one of the quotes for the April Challenge and some resin flower stickers.

Post Card from Santa

I finally got around to writing the post for the card which I created during Saturday's Craft Roulette episode.

The parameters this time were:

Project - Postcard

Colours - Florist Shop

Element - Globe(s)

Random - Abstract blob(s)

I went a bit out of the box for the globe - Santa is flying over the globe to deliver the presents.  While he is flying, he sent a postcard out to the girl who is sitting on a giant bauble with abstract blobs all over it.  I used different flower colours for the florist colors.

The post card  is by Nutcrafters and the ornament is by Digital Doodling.

Happy Christmas

This week's card for the Craft Roulette Challenge was a bit of a mish.   Part way through I realised that I had lost one of the parameters when re-sizing that part of the card.

The parameters for this week are A2 (there was a cheat's size that measured 5.5 inches x 4.25 inches which is way smaller than A2), forest colours (I used moss, leaves, mushrooms and berry colours), H (happy) and postage stamp or mark (that was the one I had issues with as my original postcard the postmark was too light and disappeared on re-sizing)

Beccy's Place - Month of Holiday Cards
https://beccysplace.blogspot.com/2023/11/a-month-of-holiday-cards-challenge.html

The paper is an offcut piece from a card from earlier this month.  The postcards are from Nutcrafters (same image printed twice) and the image is from Just Ink Lined.  The sentiment is a clear stamp (probably from a magazine).  Colouring is with copic markers and inking of the edges of the image plus the postcards is with Distress Inks.  I also added some twine.

This is the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday that I mostly followed:

I replaced the three dots with a sentiment.

Wishing You A Holiday Filled with warmth and love

Midway inspiration time at 12 Months of Christmas.  This month's optional twist is Patterned Paper.

I originally made a mistake with my card and had to fix it.  This is the corrected version but the one currently showing on the inspiration post at 12 Months of Christmas is the incorrect version.

I have used a digital paper from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles.  The image is from Nutcrafters and the sentiment is from Deedee's Digis.

U Rock

I am a couple of days late with my midway inspiration for the Celebrate Something Special About Your Hero or Someone You Look Up To.  Rather than "someone" I look up to, I have encompassed a group of "someones" - Musicians.  After failing to learn a musical instrument when I was younger (despite trying for a long time) and also having a voice that no-one in their right mind would want to listen to, I have huge respect for musicians.  Even more so for those who can play by ear.

I have used several digital papers (two are from Create with TLC but I am not sure of the source of the smaller pieces) for the background.  The images are from Create with TLC, Kenny K Stamps, Sparkle n Sprinkle, Digi Stamps 4 Joy and Nutcrafters.  Colouring is with copic markers.

Ho! Ho! Ho!

This week at CHNC, our optional twist is Santa.  I have had this image printed out for some time and thought it was perfect for this card.

I have used some digital paper from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles along with some strips of cardstock for the background.  The image is from Nutcrafters (which I think may be closed now) and the sentiment is from From The Heart Stamps (also closed).  Colouring is with copic markers, Wink of Stella and Kindy Glitz.

Calendar 2015

The last time I started a calendar I didn't finish it - so this time I'm starting with January and working my way through the year.  Hopefully, I will finish this one!

I would like to enter my calendar into these challenges:
Nutcrafters - Anything But A Card (Calendar)
http://nutcrafters.blogspot.co.nz/2014/11/challenge-81anything-but-card.html

I have used a "Make Your Own Calendar" which has the months included and blank pages to decorate.  I started off by inking the blank page using some Adirondack dye inks applied using shaving brushes.  The image is from Nutcrafters and is coloured with copic markers.  I added various coloured sequins around the image that represent celebrating a new year - wine glasses, starbursts and stars.  I used sequins as they are flat and are a suitable embellishment for a calendar.

Boo

I decided to make one more Halloween card.  I bought these confetti embellishments on clearance.  After I spent ages looking for embellishments a few weeks ago and couldn't find any, I just couldn't leave these ones in the store!  And then of course, I had to have a play with them.

Pink and Brown

I haven't managed to participate in the Nutcrafters Challenges recently but when I saw this colour combination I just had to find the time!  It is not a combination that I have used before so it was fantastic to try something new and challenging.

I am entering my card into the following challenges:
