BYSH Cardmakers September Sketch #61 Challenge

Welcome everyone. There's a new challenge at BYSH Cardmakers, Sketch #61. You still have some time to play along with us for the September challenge. Here is a look at the card sketch.

My card uses paper from the Carta Bella 6" X 6" A Vintage Christmas paper pad. I chose to interpret this sketch so that the only pattern paper was in the middle section of the card. I chose to white heat emboss my sentiment on the dark green flag pattern paper. The sentiment was from a Simon Says Stamp sentiment stamp.

I hope you will head over to the BYSH Cardmakers blog to check out the other design team projects and soak up the inspiration provided, then head over to our Facebook Group to share your project.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope to see you again soon.

BYSH Cardmakers Sketch #47 Challenge

A new challenge has started at BYSH Cardmakers using a new sketch, sketch #47. Let's take a look at the sketch.

Here is another look at my first Inspiration Project.

My card is a standard A2 card. My pattern paper is from Carta Bella. I matted my main layer with some Kraft colored cardstock from the pattern paper pad. I also used some deep red pattern paper to mat the plaid paper layer and both colored pattern paper for the square layer.

For my focal point I cut a poinsettia out of white cardstock. I added some light yellow Copic markers to the center of my flower. I colored the actual center of my flower with some more golden markers.

I adhered my Poinsettia to the center of my panel then added some gold confetti around my flower. I white heat embossed my sentiment to a scrap of the red cardstock.

Thanks for visiting today. I hope you will head over to the BYSH Cardmakers blog to check out the other Design Team inspiration and link up your project on our Facebook page.

The Creative Crafter Challenge #73

It's time for a new challenge over at The Creative Crafter blog. As usual it's Anything Goes. My card base is heavyweight white cardstock cut, scored and folded to make an A2 card. All of my pattern paper is from the Carta Bella Here Comes Spring 6" X 6" paper pad.

I used some Spellbinders rectangle dies to cut pink pattern paper and the boot pattern paper.  I used a Spellbinders arch die to cut my green pattern paper. I popped up the arch with some foam tape. I found my image in Cricut Design Space. It's a print then cut image.

My sentiment is foiled with some pastel green foil and is also from Spellbinders using my Spellbinders Hot Foil System.  I die cut it with a sentiment banner die and popped it up on my card with foam tape. To finish my card, I added some minty green pearls in the upper left and lower right-hand corners.

I appreciate you stopping by today. I hope you will head over to The Creative Crafter blog and check out the rest of the design team projects, then link up your project.

My pink dotted paper is cut at 2 1/4" X 1 3/4".  My yellow gingham paper is cut at 2 1/4" X 2 3/4". The thin strip was cut the height of the border and 4 1/4" long. My sentiment box in the middle was a cut-a-part from the paper pad. My sentiment panel is popped up with some thin foam squares.

BYSH Cardmakers Sketch #40 Challenge

A new challenge has started at BYSH Cardmakers using Sketch #40.  Here's a look at this month's sketch.

As you can see by the sketch, I turned the sketch to make a landscape card. My pattern papers are from a Carta Bella Christmas 6" X 6" paper pad. I wanted a sleigh to put on my card that had some gifts in it. I found a sleigh I liked in Design Space and then found the gifts, I cut the gifts and ribbon's out of pattern paper. I used some gold metallic paper for the runner on the sleigh. I glued the gifts to the sleigh as well as the runner. I then added some foam tape behind the sleigh and adhered it to the front of my card. I heat embossed my sentiment with gold embossing powder on black cardstock then added it to my card with foam tape. To finish my card, I added some gold pearls.

Now, I hope you will pay a visit to the BYSH Cardmakers blog and check out more inspiration projects from the design team. Then head to our Facebook Group and add your project. There is a prize awarded every month.

Thanks for stopping by. See you again soon.
