Hello Friends!

It is time for another Mailbox Smiles challenge over at CardzTV and here is what I made for your inspiration.

I started with a piece of white card stock cut and folded to make a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card base

Next I cut another piece of white card stock to approximately 4 X 5 1/4" and using the Tim Holtz Grid Dot stencil and some watermelon ink from Simon Says Stamp I used a Clarity Stencil brush and brushed on the ink to create the background for my image.  Once done I cut the paper down to 3 1/4" X 4 7/8".  I then cut a black mat to mount the background on. The black mat is cut at 3 3/8" X 5".

My image is from the Silhouette store and is a print and cut.  I cut it at approximately 3 1/2" and adhered it to my image background piece with some foam tape.

My sentiment is stamped from the CardzTV Favorite Phrases stamp set in some Versafine Onyx Black ink, and my card is finished.

Now it is your turn.  Link up your "Anything Goes" project for a chance to win a set of stamps from CardzTV.

Happy Father's Day

It is time for another Mailbox Smiles challenge over at Cardz TV.  Here is what I made for the Anything Goes challenge.

I started with some Kraft card stock cut and scored to make a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card base.  Next I used the second to the biggest die from the Stitched Rectangle die set by Memory Box and cut a piece of Bristol Smooth card stock down for my mat.  I used some Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide ink to create my background.  I then die cut the Tall Grassy stems left  corner die from Memory Box out of some green card stock and adhered it to my card.  Next I cut a small dragonfly from the Impressions Obsessions Dragonfly Die set and added it to the card to finish the image off.

My sentiment is from the CardzTV You're the Man stamp set and is stamped in some Memento Rich Cocoa ink.

Now it is your turn.  Make any project and enter it into the challenge.  Looking forward to seeing you there.

Hey Good Lookin'

It is time for a new challenge over at CardzTV.  All challenges run for two weeks and are Anything Goes! So be sure to join in the fun.  Here is what I made for this challenge.

I found this Flamingo cut out card in the Silhouette store and thought it was adorable so of course I wanted to make it.  The file makes a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card.  It is a quick and easy card to make and the different layers for the flamingo went together quickly. My sentiment is stamped with Memento Tuxedo black ink and is from the CardzTV Stamp set Favorite Phrases.

Now join in the challenge and enjoy the fun and who knows, you just might win something too!  There are two design teams for CardzTV and each design team challenge runs two weeks and there is a new challenge each week . Plenty of time for you to play along.  Now lets see what you make for the Anything Goes challenge.

Hello Spring!

Hi there, Deanna here with another inspirational post for the CadrzTV Gallery.  Here is what I have for you today.

For my card I started with some white card stock that was cut and folded to make a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card base.  I cut my butterflies using a Memory Box die and some aqua paper. Next I cut a solid oval from another Memory Box die set.  After I adhered the two ovals together, I applied some White Blizzard Nuvo Crystal drops to the cut out areas of the butterflies and then allowed it to dry.  I then adhered it to my card with some foam tape.  My sentiment was stamped from the new Spring Fling Cardz TV stamp set.  To finish the card I added some sequence that I attached with some mini bling glue dots.

Cardztv Anything Goes 3D Blog Hop!

I'm so glad you could join us today for our Anything Goes 3D Blog Hop! This is a two day hop, today is the 3D hop an Sunday is the Anything Goes Card Blog Hop so grab your favorite beverage, sit back and relax, and get ready for some fun, inspiration, and the chance to win some blog candy too! If you came from Michelle's blog you are heading in the right direction. If you just dropped by please go to Mary's blog to start the hop and visit everyone's blog.

Here is what I made for you!

I found this 3D butterfly shadow box in the Silhouette store. I just thought it screamed spring and I loved the butterflies. It was actually fairly easy to put together. I followed the tutorial provided by the designer that I found here. I followed her instructions on how to enlarge the design and then cut and assembled based on the tutorial. I cut my large and small butterflies and the default size that came with the design and cut the middle size butterfly at 90% of the large size. I will admit on the two larger butterflies there are a lot of wholes to weed out and I couldn't get them all but I love how this turned out.

My sentiment is from the new CardzTV Stamp set Birds and Bees and says You're the wind beneath my wing! This set has some super cute sentiments on it and it is perfect for Spring and Summer!

Now what is a blog hop without some blog candy???? Well, my blog candy is two Memento Ink pads one in Tuxedo Black and the other in Rich Cocoa.

These are the two colors that Mary uses the most with her stamps, so why shouldn't you have a set as well? AND who knows, there just might a surprise or two in the blog candy package when it arrives at the winners house! So to be eligible for the blog candy please be a follower of my blog and leave a comment on this post with a way for me to get in touch with you when you win. Be sure you complete the entire hop and leave comments along the way. Mary will be giving away a set of CardzTV stamps so you don't want to miss out.

Ready to move on? Then hop on over to Michelle's blog.  I have a complete list for you in case you get lost. And don't forget to come back tomorrow to Mary's blog and Sunday is day 2 of the hop with all new projects!!!

Sugar Rush 3D Blog Hop

I'm so glad you could join us today for our Sugar Rush 3D Blog Hop! So grab your favorite beverage, sit back and relax, and get ready for some fun, inspiration, and the chance to win some blog candy too! If you came from Nicole's blog you are heading in the right direction. If you just dropped by please go to Mary's blog to start the hop and visit everyone's blog.

Here's what I made for today's blog hop using Cardz TV Stamps Sugar Rush Blog Hop.

This little box is quick and easy to put together. I found the SVG file for free on the internet. I downloaded and brought it into my Silhouette software to trace and cut. The patterned paper is from the DCWV Sweet paper stack. I thought the glittery chocolate paper went will with this hops theme. The bottom of the box is made with some cream colored card stock. The box is the perfect size to hold a regular size candy bar such as a Snickers, or Milky Way. These would make great party treats.

To finish the box, I added some brown ribbon that I wrapped around the box and tied in a bow. I then added my sentiment which I stamped with some Rich Cocoa Memento ink. The sentiment reads, Chocolate is a bare necessity of life! I love this stamp set.

What's a blog hop without some blog candy!  Mary will be giving 2 sets of Cardz TV Stamps for her blog candy, so if you’re a follower of Cardz TV, just leave  a comment on her blog! Mary will use random.org to pick a WINNER!!!!

Cardz TV 3D Challenge

It is time for a new challenge over at CardzTV. Today's challenge is to make a 3d Project for Valentine's Day. The mailbox is a file from the Silhouette Store and is a Lori Whitlock image.

I cut the mailbox at the default size and used some Zip-Dry adhesive to put it together. It was very simple to put together. For the front of the mailbox(the lid) I cut a strip of the pink stripe and adhered it around the outer edge.

I used the Snail Mail CardzTV Stamp Set for my sentiments. I stamps the SWAK in Memento Tuxedo black ink on the side of the mailbox to resemble the place you would put your name or address on your own mailbox. For the front of the lid I stamped the postage stamp image with the black ink and stamp inside of it with the Priority Mail stamp in Memento Love Letter ink. I then cut the stamp out and added some small pink rhinestones to each of the corners of the stamp and attached it to the front with some foam tape.

I put some Hershey's kisses on the inside of the mailbox for a special delivery. I hope you will join in the fun and play along with us with this challenge.
