Good Bye

Sweetie earned her angel's wings yesterday afternoon.

It was time.

A constant in our lives since mid-2009, she enjoyed her retirement years inside and was pampered.

Mama Watches Mama

It's Sweetnesday!

Our readers may not remember that she was Mama before Sweetie became her name.

Why 'Mama'?

Because she was pregnant when she first appeared in our yard.

Having been TNR'd in 2009 after her babes were born and weaned, Mama really was no longer an accurate name.

Now, she watches the world from her window perch.

Sweetie: "I'd enjoy my perch more if there wasn't a commentary going on..."

Sweetie: "Okay, if you won't quiet down, I'll just take a look-see outside!"

Sweetie was called "Mama Cat" for years, before it was clear that a name change was needed.

When she began to stay close to us humans, it was like she was a different cat.

Now, as sovereign of her own realm, she's not shy!
