A Gentle Reminder

Trump's reversal on the release of the Epstein files is bullshit. Anybody who is applauding what he is doing is a certified Kool-Aid drinker.

The truth of the matter is that Trump doesn't need Congress to vote on releasing the Epstein files. He could order his personal attorney, Pam Bondi, to release them today.

Which he hasn't done. This is all just stall, deny, and delay.

it is more and more certain, as he drags us out, that he is a pedophile, and the proof is in the files. And he knows that. He knows that this is one revelation about his long lifetime of committing crimes that his base will not accept.

Trump, Epstein and More

First off, it's coming out that Epstein and Trump were friends for a lot longer than Trump has said. Epstein was coaching Steve Bannon on a media campaign to support Trump in 2018.

Trump has no real friends, he never has. Every relationship in his life is transactional. He keeps people in his orbit for what they can do for him. When they can't do anything more for him, they're gone. That Epstein was in his life for so long speaks volumes.

Second, I want to pivot to Jimmy Kimmel, who lost his lifelong friend and bandleader, Cleto Escobedo III. Kimmel's taking a few days off, but he did his show the day Escobedo died. His monologue was a heartfelt eulogy to his friend.

On social media, I've read some pretty brutal comments, mocking Kimmel for showing his feelings and calling him all sorts of nasty shit. I'm not going to quote or link to them. But if that's you, check your head. You're showing what kind of character that you have and it's not flattering to you.

The Coming Epstein War

As the saying go, the rubber is going to hit the road when the Epstein file bill comes up for a vote next week. Will we see a shitload of GOP reps voting for it, now that they'll have to go on the record about whether or not to keep on protecting Trump's alleged pedophilia? Because you know, Gentle Reader, that if he wasn't in it up to his hairline, that he'd not be fighting so hard to keep it under wraps.

A few conservative representatives with ties to the FBI and the Justice Department have spilled that the true details of the Epstein files are “worse” for Trump than previously reported, according to journalist David Schuster.

Michael Wolff, a longtime chronicler of Trump’s White House who conducted extensive interviews with Epstein prior to his death, told The Daily Beast last month that Epstein had shown him photos of Trump with half-naked “young girls” in his lap.

These rumors have galvanized into a legitimate movement among Republicans, who are now, Schuster wrote on X Wednesday night, clamoring for the files’ full release.

And so you see why the Republicans will move Heaven and Earth to keep the government closed in order to keep the government closed and keep the Epstein files hidden.

Republicans are protecting a major pedophile, and they are fully aware of that. Never ever forget that.

And that would be the construction of the Epstein Memorial Ballroom.

The government is shut down. Federal workers are going without pay. SNAP benefits are ending. Health insurance premiums are set to skyrocket. Federal parks and museums are closed. Russia keeps bombing civilians in Ukraine. The Gaza peace deal is falling apart.

But all that Demented Fat Old Bastard cares about is the Epstein Ballroom.

And if that quote from Lyin' Leavitt isn't prominently featured in political ads, then the Dems deserve to lose.

President Trump’s plan to add an expansive ballroom to the White House will mean the demolition of the entire East Wing, which was expected to be fully torn down by this weekend, according to a senior administration official.

No architectural review, no nothing. He's tearing down a chunk of the White House as though it's his own property to do with what he will. The difference between bin Laden and Trump is that Trump partially destroyed a building signifying American democracy.

If the next president has any balls at all, the teardown of the Epstein Memorial Ballroom will begin in January of 2029.

If he intends to leave. It's starting to look like he doesn't intend to. And if he doesn't, his party will stand behind him.

It's a pretty juvenile thing for a president to be doing, but he has the emotional maturity of a child and always has been like that.

Tens of millions more detest Trump and he's now given them a reason to vote party-line against him and his party.

House lawmakers will spend another week in their districts after Speaker Mike Johnson canceled next week’s scheduled votes.

Butt-Kissing Mike will do all he can to not have to take a stand on the Epstein files.
