Jon Huntsman for State: Mr. President Elect, Just Say NO

*Gulp*: I hope this is just a bait and switch to justify Romney, or Petraeus, or anyone else...

I recognize that there is all sorts of things going on behind the scenes, so I assume this is part of that process.  Still, I feel compelled to speak out about even the possibility of this. If anyone is seriously considering Jon Huntsman for any senior position in the Trump White House...stop it immediately and reconsider anyone else.

Jon Huntsman will give it one more state at least, Huntsman has the money.  Plus he has those awesome Mandarin curses.

Santorum will try again too.  He did okay considering his last minute scramble.  It is a very uphill battle for him. He may be disappointed but given the circumstances he really should not be.

Newt Gingrich will stay in for ego only.  At least one more state.  But I wish he would leave now if he keeps arguing like a Democrat.  I am remember how he made me feel when he endorsed Dede Scozzafava, or sat on the couch with Nancy, or attacked Paul Ryan...

Is it worth Rick Perry even proceeding at this point?  I sure would recommend he not go into debt to try to do something in South Carolina.  And I suspect Herman Cain will throw his support to Romney given where the candidates are (although Herman might surprise us and go with Gingrich or Santorum).  I think we can safely predict there will be no Herman Cain support for Rick Perry.

Now for the rub:  The concluding caption is “American Values And Liberty… Vote Ron Paul”.  Starting to smell the stink yet?
The video was uploaded by a user called “NHLiberty4Paul” on Wednesday, January 4.  A quick look at the user’s channel page (archived here as a backup) shows that the account was created the exactly same day that the video was uploaded.  This brand new, anonymous user has, of course, zero other uploads.
Furthermore, according to the publicly-viewable stats provided by YouTube, the very first place this video was posted was Jon Huntsman’s campaign website, Jon2012.com.  This was done on January 4, the very day the video was uploaded to YouTube, and before the video had received any traffic from other sites...

Is Huntsman's Campaign complicit in dirty trick against Paul?

This should be interesting.  Somebody is not telling the truth. 


Let me clarify.  I can't imagine either candidate approving something so insanely stupid.  But a rogue supporter?  The first Ron Paul link above does make an argument it may have come from Huntsman's campaign offices.  Seems that could be easily proven one way or the other.  Of course, Ron Paul does attract a few crazies to his campaign.

The Paul campaign denounced the clip today as“disgusting” and the candidate himself said this of whoever put it together:

“Of course I disavow him and he shouldn’t do it, because you have one out of how many, a couple hundred thousand, five hundred thousand, I don’t know how many people we have, because one does that, to bring that up just doesn’t sound like a fair thing to do,” Paul said. “Of course I denounce it, I couldn’t even hear it, haven’t looked at it, but people do that, and they do it in all campaigns.”

Paul continued, “So obviously I just disavow him and try to go on and do the thing I’m supposed to do.”

I am glad for Ron Paul he denounced this, but he really has to ask himself why his campaign seems to attract people who think this sort of stuff would even work.  Even Paul is not suggesting this is some sort of fake Ron Paul ad created by someone adverse from his campaign.
