It's almost time to Trick or Treat and these adorable critters are ready to go! Any set of adorable characters can be dressed up for Halloween, Christmas or a birthday party with a few Eyelet Outlet brad styles. The mummy bear has donned a Mustache Brad; the unicorn kitty is sporting a Tiara and Eye Glass Brads; the dashing dachshund has his Top Hat on and has invited a Long Dog friend to accompany him. Some Black Cat Brads obviously wanted to join the party and it would hardly be a spooky occasion without Bat and Pumpkin Brads. Thee handsome Frog Brad is wearing a Witch's Hat... or possibly... a powerful witch has been temporarily turned into a frog? Either way, this Boo Crew is definitely going to collect lots of candy and maybe win some prizes at the costume party! On Point with NEW Brads!
Later this month there are some fabulous new brad styles coming to Eyelet Outlet, so here's a little sneak peek at our Cactus Brads. They are wonderful all on their own, but even better when paired with Cactus Tape, Brick Washi and Wood Tape to make a little scene. There's also a yellow lily from our Frog Brad Set, a small red Heart and a Mini Ladybug Brad getting in on the action.

HOPPY Birthday

If one happens to have Eyelet Outlet Frog Brads and/or Rabbit Brads, any greeting which would ordinarily read, "Happy" can now be, "Hoppy"! If one also has the amazing super-wide Sky Washi, an instant landscape can easily occur!

Lauren's Valentine Favorites
Isn't it fun looking back at the Eyelet Outlet Design team's favorite Valentine cards and projects? I (Lauren) had a good time scrolling through my cards from the last few years and I *love* seeing what the rest of the team have picked, as well!
My second choice is a fun (though fairly specific, lol) card. Featuring one of the three colors of yarn from our Knitting Brads (they're on sale!) and a few Heart Brads on a background of Blue and White Dots Tape, this More Than Yarn card is from January of 2017
I've used the same diabolical pun three different ways for my Hoppy Hoppy Hoppy trio from February of 2020; with Rabbit and Heart Brads and some Tiny Hearts Tape; with Frog Brads with Heart Pearls on a background of Cloud Tape; and finally Beer Brads and Beer Tape with some yellow Heart Enamels.
Last year's Valentine's Breakfast is another trio... (what can I say, I like making sets) ...this time pairing a punny breakfast stamp set with our Bacon Egg and Toast Brads as well as the waffles from our Chicken and Waffles Set (also on sale!) and more Heart Pearls.

Hoppy for You!
It's a hoppy summer day so why not celebrate someone with a pond and it's frogs, turtles and bees! This happy card reminds me of long summer days. Some would say it reminds them of spring but in my youth in North Dakota, ponds didn't look like this until late July or August because the season is so short and cool until then.
There are several sets used here. The Frog Brad Set is so much bang for your buck because you get the frogs, cattails AND the water lillies. The Mini Bee Brads are just the right size for the scene and the Turtle Brad looks so happy too!
I had a bit of space up at the top and I love I could fill it with three different washi tapes and the Sun and Clouds Brad Set. The washi tape used is the new Color Wheel Washi, Skinny Glitter Washi which is a set of 6 colors, and the Checked Blue Washi. The Bright Butterfly Brad make it all work together.
Make yourself a summer scene while the sun is still shining!

When Irish Frogs Are Smiling
By now I expect everyone knows that premade journal cards are my very favorite cardmaking "secret" so it's no surprise that I have employed them here. These particular ones happen to be from Doodlebug Design; I love their clear bright colors. I changed the "Happy" to "Hoppy" on the sentiment flag with the help of a green jewel brad, and added a handsome pair of Frog Brads as well as one of the cattails and waterlillies which come in the same set. A green Heart Enamel completes the little scene.

Birthday Pun(s)
I'm definitely crushing on Doodlebug Designs' "So Much Pun" collection, especially since it works really well with a lot of different EO brads and washi tapes. For one thing, they don't just have any old frog, they have a super cute one who could definitely be the elder brother of our adorable Frog Brads! Since we're celebrating a birthday on this card, I decided not to stop there, but to also add a Party Hat and a Cupcake as well. For the background I used one of the coordinating prints from the paper collection with a few neutral solids and a nice strip of Green Dot Tape because they're frogs, lol!
I guess it wasn't too shocking that one of the other 2.25" square minicards featured some birthday candles; but what are the odds that those candles would be EXACTLY the same size as our Candle Brads? (and yet... they were!) In this case the colors were just right to feature all three shades of Sprinkles Tape too!
