Meet Plugin
Meet connects AVideo to a Jitsi meeting server. Users can create or schedule browser-based meetings and, when the selected server and AVideo Live configuration support it, send a meeting to a livestream.
Capacity, recording, livestreaming, branding, and limits come from the selected meeting server—not from enabling the plugin alone.
- Enable Meet in Admin → Plugins and configure the meeting-server details.
- Open Meet from the site's top menu.
- Select New Meet to start now or Schedule to create a future meeting.
- Enter the requested title, time, access, and other settings.
- Save and copy the meeting link from the meeting panel or browser address bar.
A signed-in participant normally joins with the AVideo profile name/photo. A guest may be asked for a display name, depending on the server and meeting rules.

Why is the Meet menu missing? Confirm the plugin is enabled, the account has permission, and the active menu/theme has refreshed.
Why does Server Status fail? Check the meeting-server URL, HTTPS certificate, DNS, network access, credentials, and the server itself.
Why is Start Livestream missing? The account needs the required live permission, and both the meeting server and AVideo Live workflow must support the action.
Why can users join but not hear or see each other? Check browser permissions, HTTPS, firewall/NAT/TURN configuration, device selection, and the Jitsi server logs.
