Video_Location_Block Plugin
Video Location Block limits a video to selected countries. It depends on the User_Location plugin to determine the viewer's country.
- Sign in as an administrator or video owner with permission to edit the video.
- Open Video Manager and edit the video.
- Open the Geo-blocking tab.
- Select the countries where the video may be watched, or select Worldwide to remove the restriction.
- Save the video.
- Test with a normal user from an allowed location and, when possible, from a blocked location.

Why does it have no effect? Confirm that both Video Location Block and User_Location are enabled, then verify the country detected for the viewer.
Is country detection exact? No. It is based on network location and can be wrong or affected by VPNs and proxies.
Does this replace privacy or payment rules? No. Use video privacy, user groups, subscriptions, or pay-per-view separately. A viewer must pass every applicable rule.
