I noticed a bunch of duplicated code so I decided to make a PR.
I tested both branches with a quick and dirty
WebAssembly.compileStreaming = undefined;and it works fine.Edit: forgot to add that the error messages actually weren't the same, but I chose the streaming branch as the "canonical" one since that's what most users would have been seeing.
