About me

Hi there👋. My name is Jianshu (canonically pronounced as Jyen-shoo) Zhao, a computational microbiologist at University of California, San Diego. My primary research interest is to apply probabilistic data structures to solve problems in microbiome, microbial genomics, genomics and metagenomics. I am also interested in high performance computing for large-scale biological problems. I am a Rustacean 🦀. I am the main developer of several software packages such as GSearch, annembed, BinDash 2, graphembed and DartUniFrac.
