Customer service was excellent from start to finish. The sales team, the office team, the surveyors, the roofers, the electricians, the after sales team, everyone who was involved with us was so courteous, friendly and professional. We needed to change dates a few times and they accommodated us with no drama. I would 100% recommend JM Energy and will have them back soon for a car charger install.

From Sales to installation and setup , there was a free flow of information from the company. Excellent communication of when equipment was to be delivered. Both installation teams were very neat and tidy and considerate as I was working from home both days. Verry flexible for installation as I was not available with short notice and it was rescheduled without much delay.

All personnel encountered throughout the process - sales, admin, surveying, deliveries, roofing, electrical, installation & commissioning - were invariably professional, efficient, friendly & helpful. It's obvious that, at JM Energy, pride is taken in delivering on task to standards of excellence and best practice. Had my 19 panel, 8.7kw system commissioned by JM Energy Savings on 24 July 2026, towards the end of the heatwave here in Ireland. I was impressed from start to finish with the installation; everyone was efficient, thorough, left everything tidy and explained everything they were doing for the installation. Now, just 10 days later with the weather wet and quite dull again, I am still thrilled with my panels; batteries are full, hot water tank is full, home running on batteries and still able to send to the grid! Absolutely fantastic! If you can mange financially to have panels, a battery or two for storage and an Eddi hot water unit, DO IT! Its a no brainer!!

The process is clearly one that has been appraised and improved continuously over a long time. The process is efficiently structured into different stages; sales, engineering assessment, roof installation and finally electrical installation.
We went with JM energy purely on the recommendation of a friend without comparing price.
Subsequently we can see that the pricing is also very competitive.
Very happy with our 6.4 kWh + 10kw battery. It’s July and we are covering our energy costs and building substantial credit for the darker months.

Very pleased with our solar installation. Clear outlining of the steps involved and time lines were adhered to. All members of the team were friendly and amenable. A pleasure. One area that could bear improvement is the post install system walk through. Claire in After Sales was excellent in answering any questions I had.

Installing solar with JM Energy is honestly the best decision we’ve made since buying our house.

We were initially skeptical that solar would even work for us. We live in an old farmhouse surrounded by trees, with multiple chimneys, dormers, and skylights—far from an ideal roof layout. We assumed shade and limited roof space would make solar inefficient or not worthwhile. But the JM Energy team took the time to carefully assess our home and design a system specifically for our conditions. They installed panels optimized for lower-light and partially shaded areas, which made a huge difference.

Despite having a relatively small system—just 8 panels and a SolaX 5kW battery—we now produce enough energy to be completely energy independent for about half the year. On sunny days, we often generate more than we need and can sell excess energy back to the grid. During the winter, the battery allows us to buy cheaper electricity at night and use it during the day, which further reduces our costs.

The battery has also been a game changer during storms. Living in a rural area, we sometimes lose power for days at a time. Now we can keep the essentials running and avoid the disruption and stress that used to come with outages.

Even with our modest system size, we estimate we’re saving over €1,000 per year on energy bills. Beyond the financial savings, there’s also a real sense of satisfaction in knowing we’re reducing our dependence on fossil fuels and making our home more resilient and sustainable.

The JM Energy team were knowledgeable, thoughtful, and professional from start to finish. They didn’t try to oversell us—they designed the right system for our home and made the entire process straightforward and stress-free.
