really helpful staff in Amy and Mya. would have given 5 stars but for the silly rule around not giving me exact dimensions of ONE wall as requested so that I can order furniture to go on that wall.... See more

Jane and Daren are amazing! So helpful, friendly and caring!
We recently moved into our new home at Seton Rise and could not be happier with the overall experience. From the initial process through to post-completion support, the entire team at Taylor Wimpey has been exceptional.
We would like to extend a special thanks to Isla Lucey, Ryan Mitchell, and Paul Gray:
- Isla Lucey: Thank you for your fantastic communication and support throughout our home-buying journey.
- Ryan Mitchell: Thank you for your hard work, quick responsiveness, and dedication to ensuring everything on-site was handled smoothly.
- Paul Gray: Thank you for your prompt attention and commitment to ensuring high standards and prompt resolution of any queries.
Even our independent professional snagging inspector noted the overall impressive build quality and high standard of finish on the property. The few minor tweaks identified were handled seamlessly and attentively by the team.
Thank you again to Isla, Ryan, Paul, and the team for all your hard work in helping us get into our new home! Highly recommended
Not sure where to start with this one but the Wisley Acres development has been forced on the existing local community in spite of the majority of local people being against this development. Taylor Wimpey has just ploughed on regardless and is planning to dump a huge, ugly housing development right on our doorstep. The development is wrong on so many levels but the local community has been totally ignored. This is everything that is wrong with the UK today with people feeling powerless to prevent developments such as this.
Had a problem with my flat window ( i found a piece of beading was missing ) and because it my flat was over 3 years old, the sales office, on the estate, wouldn’t do anything to help. They said it wasn’t there problem. Absolutely shocking customer service. This happened in 2024 and my flat was built in 2021.

Till now we had good experience from the beginning

I wrote a review back in may this year and guess what.... yes you are right we are still waiting for someone to come and fix our back door!!! After months of waiting they offer us 1 day and we are not available. So now we get to wait how long before someone can get back to us with the dates. We have provided dates we can do to try to be helpful but they ignore that. Still waiting for sealants to be fixed and now the tape on the ceiling is coming off, these are all open jobs and yet we are still waiting with no communications from them, they just leave you hanging, they give you a 2 year warranty because they take so bloody long to get back to you, I think they hope you will forget about it. Zero customer care and if I'd known this at the start I would never have gone down this road with them.

Purchased a property via part exchange. The early signs were positive and we were so excited at the thought of moving into our 'forever home'.
The completed house significantly differs from the showhome we viewed and based our purchase decision on. The landing is a different size, the entrance/hallway layout has changed, and the back door next to the patio doors has been replaced with a window. None of these changes were disclosed or explained to us before or during the purchase process. We viewed plans, and relied on the experts of these drawings to advise of differences.
The property was the first built at our site and the Site Manager was working from plans for the house in the opposite orientation. Effectively building from upside down plans.
We've raised a formal complaint with Taylor Wimpey about the discrepancies and await the outcome.
Buyers relying on the showhome to understand what they're purchasing should be aware that the finished property can differ materially without warning.
This despite repeated visits to the showhome to 'measure up', we were not advised of any structural changes.

My experience at Taylor Wimpey has been outstanding. I had the pleasure of dealing with Susan, her enthusiasm, knowledge and experience made me feel confident. Her rapport built trust and her communication made me feel I was the most important and valued customer. So far, every question has been answered and I feel fully informed. I'm in the early stages of the process but feel reassured. Hugely important to me as a single person making all these decisions. Bravo Burdon Fields!

Was easy to complete everything however the incentive offered was very confusing. Especially how the website portrays there to be more incentive but when asking for NHS it’s not actually better to use that? And then also straight after buying my house a similar house had an incentive go up by nearly £1000 more than what I was offered

Special thanks to Jacky and Rachel for their assistance from start to finish. They explained every stage and, above all, kept us well hydrated with those drinks. Connor and the team, thank you too for your professionalism.

Excellent customer service. Everything was explained to me carefully and tailored to my financial needs and time constraints. I couldn't be happier with my experience so far. Perfect if you are buying a new build for the first time!

Very disappointing experience with Taylor Wimpey’s part-exchange process.
To be completely fair, I have no complaints about the property itself. Taylor Wimpey didn't build it, so the issue isn't the house — it's the way we were treated throughout the transaction.
From the outset, the emphasis seemed to be on Taylor Wimpey's deadline rather than the realities of the chain. We were fully cooperative and doing everything we could to progress matters, yet we were repeatedly put under pressure with the threat that Taylor Wimpey would pull out if their fast-completion target wasn't met.
This was incredibly stressful. Buying a house is stressful enough without having the entire transaction effectively held to ransom over a deadline that was not entirely within our control. There was still a link in the chain going through the necessary checks, yet the pressure continued regardless.
We eventually completed, but the experience left a very sour taste. You would expect a company of this size to understand how property chains work and appreciate that some parts of the process simply cannot be rushed without potentially causing problems further down the line.
Unfortunately, that wasn't the end of it.
More than a month after completion, we received the final energy bill and found ourselves being pursued for gas and electricity usage from the period when Taylor Wimpey occupied the property. Scottish Power initially expected us to pick up these charges. Thankfully, after providing evidence, Scottish Power resolved the matter — but it was yet another unnecessary headache caused by a transaction that had already been stressful enough.
The whole experience has left me questioning how much consideration is actually given to the customer during Taylor Wimpey's part-exchange process. The property may have been fine, but the customer experience certainly wasn't.
If you're considering a part-exchange with Taylor Wimpey, my advice would be to keep records of everything, make sure dates and responsibilities are clearly documented, and don't assume that issues relating to the period before you owned the property will automatically be dealt with correctly.
For us, what should have been an exciting move became an unnecessarily stressful process. The house might not have been built by Taylor Wimpey, but unfortunately our negative experience was.

Extremely disappointing experience with Taylor Wimpey.
I bought a new-build expecting a new development to be handed over properly. Instead, we’re left with mould, unreliable communal doors, broken handles, overgrown weeds, moving paving and unfinished works…many of which were reported to Taylor Wimpey before handover.
Now the development has been handed to the management company, Taylor Wimpey appear to be washing their hands of the problems and residents are being left to pay for defects and shoddy workmanship ourselves.
A developer should fix problems it knew about before handing a development over, not pass the bill to residents!!
Not even a year in and my ‘new build’ already feels anything but new. Very poor aftercare and an even poorer attitude towards taking responsibility!

The sales team were so accommodating, they dealt with us in a relaxed manner. Although our house was not ready to view we were taken to an exact match. All round nice experience

From when we moved in last June. We have had nothing but drama at Bronze Park, the customer service team have 0 communication or any sort of information with there team. We have had broken doors and mould growing in our building for over a year now and they keep passing the blame to the building management team ( as they have now passed the building over) but we reported this 9+ months ago when TW promised they would fix everything and touch everything up once the last owner moved in. But they never did this and it was all a lie. Don’t buy from them. Take your money elsewhere and run as far as you can It’s absolutely disgusting how fast they can take your money but not do absolutely anything after.

Exceptional care until they get their survey from you and then its a different story. Handed over our block of flats to the management company with ongoing issues that we are now being held liable to pay for and TW are taking 0 responsibility for acknowledging these issues have been ongoing from when some of us moved into the block. Temporary fixes were put in place to enable them to hand it over with no prior warning given to residents of when the block would be handed over. If I could retract my new home survey, I would. They also know certain flats in our block are too far to connect the charger to the wifi and haven’t taken ownership to replace these as the residents have not realised given no electric car. I was aware given my car and made them fix it…a little one they have let go under the radar despite knowing full well the current chargers are not fit for purpose.
Your response again is shifting the blame. The issues have been ongoing since before the block was handed over and now we will be liable to pay for the repairs. Why should the management company fix your poor building work and us pay for it? You are shifting the blame just like they are. Accept some accountability.
Don’t buy unless you want a shoddy finish, mouldy apartment block, weeds as tall as the ground floor, door handles that can leave you locked IN and promises they don’t keep!

Great attitude at all locations where we went to view showhomes.
The ladies at the location we wanted to buy in were very helpful and covered everything we needed
