Doctor Who - Utopia Review
The Master returned eight years ago today. We look back at his NuWho return in Utopia.
Doctor Who:
Utopia
By Russell T. Davies
“I… Am…The Master.”
The Doctor, Martha and Jack travel so far in the future that they literally have ended up towards the end of the universe. They have gone so far that Time Lords never ventured there when they were still in existence. The last humans are trying to get to Utopia with the help of a rocket ship that Professor Yana is trying to make lift off.
The Doctor offers his services and with the help with some power from the TARDIS the ship is ready to launch towards Utopia. The Future Kind do not want the humans to leave for Utopia because then there would not be any humans for them to eat anymore and they are hungry. So they have an agent that is trying to sabotage the launch. The Doctor and Jack fix that problem but have encountered another when Martha informs The Doctor that Yana has a watch just like he does and she suspects he is another Time Lord. She is correct in her guess but unfortunately for them that Time Lord happens to be The Master who is now reborn to wreak havoc on the universe once again.

Utopia Series Review - Minor Spoilers
By Ken Parker
Utopia, the series that debuted in the UK on Channel 4 in
2013, not that ‘reality’ garbage on FOX.
Are you in the mood for a series that is upbeat and
positive? Want a show full of high hopes that
the whole family can watch? Then don’t
watch Utopia. Actually, The Walking Dead
is more upbeat than Utopia and that is saying a lot.

British Series Utopia Remake for HBO
David Fincher (Fight Club, Se7en) will be directing this new version of the 6 part British TV series called Utopia. HBO is probably the best spot for this as the original series was violent and adult with controversial scenes including a shooting in a school. The plot is about the search for a manuscript for a never published graphic novel that seems to have information about upcoming disasters. A few fans get wrapped up in looking for the novel as a collectible but get involved in the government and an organization that will do anything to get the manuscript back.
The original TV series came out in January 2013, lasting 6 episodes but has yet to aired its second season which has been commissioned. Original creator Dennis Kelly will oversee the US version.
