Sarawak Sibu Kampua Mee @ Restoran Ah Tan White Coffee @ Setia Alam, Selangor, Malaysia.

Came here for brekkie with some friends, and one guy recommended the kampua noodles.

I think I ordered kampua white sauce. Portions were good, taste wise yup I like it. Will definitely order this next round I'm here, maybe will try the other variations.

Nuromen Cafe @ Damansara Uptown, PJ, Selangor, Malaysia.

Halal kolo mee, is it good? Not sure why I'm into Sarawak food lately, but had to check it out.

Had ample time waiting for my friend to arrive, happily snapping the menu pics.

I did the usual, ordered the mix beef, and boy would I tell you. This is some good shit, the noodles was done how I would love it to be. Nice springy al dente texture, the minced beef on top was a nice touch. The spare parts was served in the soup bowl, broth was good, could have use a more punch. But I'm not complaining as it had a how do I put it, healthy taste to it? minus the MSG, which I think they didn't use any.

My friend ordered this, not sure what it was as I was fully engrossed in my bowl of noodles. Pic looked good though.

7th Mile Kitchen @ PJ, Selangor, Malaysia.

Was reading about this place serving Sarawak delicacies, the thing that piqued my interest was the tomato noodles.

We ordered a bowl of Sarawak laksa to share, good stuff. It misses a bit of punchy-ness to it but still decent.

The tomato noodles, hmmm I'm not sure how to describe the taste, but I love it. Something different but at the same time reminds me of something comfy.

Kolo mee my friend ordered was equally good. Not a bad place if you're craving for some Sarawak noodles.

Sarawak Delicacies @ Tin Ha Kopitiam, Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia.

A friend was raving about this stall selling Laksa Sarawak. The kopi tiam is fairly new but it has a decent amount of stalls.

Quite a few noodle dishes from the Sarawak delicacies stall. Ordered the Sarawak laksa and yups it definitely hits the spot. Broth was thick and packs an umami. Sambal was good, portions were freaking good. Lovely, I so was impressed with it I came back here few more times to try the other dishes.

Had the mee pok second round I was here, was good but I reckon dry would have tasted way better, which lead me to my third round, the Kolo mee dry below. Awesome stuff. Auntie was friendly, serves good food and they're not shy with the portions, nice!

Bonus, the stall next door serves good foo chuk and  Lam mee.

Restoran Dapur Sarawak @ KL, Malaysia.

Came here for the Sarawak Laksa and I think I've found a few other good dishes.

Menu is well laid out.

The three layer milk tea was divine.

Nasi goreng dabai, friend ordered it to share. First time having it, comes with a cut of deep fried crispy ikan terubok. Lovely.

Surprisingly the mee kolok was the star of the show. Looks simple, pair it with the black sambal soya sauce. Absolutely smashing. If it's too dry, just add some of the soup that came with it to loosen the noodles.

Don't get me wrong the laksa here is good, but somehow maybe I was craving for some dry noodles this particular day. Be it rice or noodles, dry or soup I think I'll find myself frequenting here quite often.

Madli's Restaurant @ Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia.

Looking for mee kolok and this restaurant looks promising as it was packed during dinner time.

The teh ais was extremely addictive. Good stuff.

The mee kolok looked like a maggi goreng to me with the addition of beef cuts. Surprisingly it hits the right spot. I'm not a pro when it comes to mee kolok, but this one is good.
