Tamer Widerspan is giving another NMM course and there are still a few places available. 

You book one seat for the upcoming workshop weekend on 24th-25th May 2025
The workshop take place over two days, saturday and sunday, at the Hotel Susato, in Soest (Germany). The course fee includes primed miniatures, paints, lamps and snacks and drinks. It's like an all-in-one feel-good weekend. And you can get the whole thing for only 250 EU. Often there are also rooms available directly in the hotel, so all you have to do is go down the stairs to the meeting room. Please note that the course fee is only for the course, not for the overnight stay at the hotel. Therefore, register early enough and conveniently book a hotel of your choice.

The topics in the course are a lot of theoretical knowledge about light on objects and geometric shapes, how to simulate light and shadow with acrylic paints. How to create volume with the right balance. Each course includes a figure between 35 and 75mm. In two days you will learn to paint your own scheme, with the help of mood pictures and artworks, you can implement your individual vision. He also support each student very individually and give advice and suggestions for solutions. You should already bring certain basics with you, as the course is more oriented towards advanced techniques.
What you need to bring: Actually, not much. Your brushes, your wetpalette, if you use one. He can recommend magnifying glasses. And a lot of joy and motivation.

Unfortunately it is of a bit short notice, but I was not able to announce it earlier. I had loads of fun in the first workshop, and I am looking forward to see a lot of you guys mid of October.

many people ask me these days when they can find updates on weekend workshops and when they can enroll. I got news for you!


WEEKEND GROUP WORKSHOPS
There will be workshops in 2022, but right now none are planned. No dates yet.
This is due the wild and chaotic pandemic situation at the moment. I do not want to announce something and suddenly have to cancel it again due new restrictions. I wait until I can see the developement of the pandemic clearer.

You can expect to see new announcements in early April as I plan to start to teach workshops again around the end of May. Stay tuned and thank you for your patience!

PRIVATE COACHINGS
Fully booked until May with Private Coachings right now. Two had to be canceled in the last two weeks due pandemic restrictions or effects. One was postponed due travel restrictions for my student, the other one postponed due my very own quarantaine of ten days. As soon as there is a clearer view on weekend seminars I will plan further dates for private coachings too as I got quite the list of students who want to recieve their appointment.

I want to thank you all for your patience on this!

FAQ
Important Covid-19 Information:
All workshops will use a hygene concept at place (regular ventilation of rooms, masks, hand disenfection, etc.). Please bring your FFP-2 mask. At your place you do not have to wear it. Your seminar instructor is fully vacczined already. Please make sure that you are fully vacczined, bring confirmation (vaccination certificate) or bring a negative test with you for the start of the seminar. If, by chance, the seminar has to be cancelled due Covid-19 goverment restrictions you will either recieve a voucher or your full money back for these workshops. Unfortanetely students who already own a voucher from postponed seminars of 2020 do not have the possibility for money returns.

1. How do I sign in?
Read the PDF linked to the workshop you want to take part in. Write an email to jarhead(at)massivevoodoo(dot)com, Roman will put you on the list of the workshop and will keep you informed abbout everything. Roman will confirm your email and sign up as soon as possible.

2. When do I have to pay for the participation?
Roman sends you the payment information usually 2-3 months prior to the start of the workshop with a final payment date about one month prior to the workshop.

3. What if, due Covid-19 official restrictions, the workshop can not happen or I can not take part due personal Covid-19 issues?
All situations connected with Covid-19 development and issues have to following plans, either:
- You can get your full money back
- You can have a voucher for the workshop you signed in and take another one later
- Students who already got a voucher from 2020's cancelled workshops can, unfortanetely are not able to get the refund

well, it is what it is with this year 2020 and restrictions due the Covid-19 situation. We all are influanced by it and make the best out of it. Most important is to take care of eachother, stay healthy and roll on! It ain't as easy as I expected due the responsibility you hold as an organiser of an event where people gather together and also the situation with the venues.

So here are some updates on the actual workshop and private coaching front:

Weekend Group Seminars
Unfortanetey, I got not the best news on this front. Due the ongoing spread of the Covid-19 and its restrictions for event organisers I am completly affected by it. It can not be foreseen if there will be any more goverment messures in the year 2020 and I want to avoid a "sign up, canceled" situation again.

I will start to teach my weekend seminars in 2021
again and make proper plans with the venue. Until then I am about to setup a newsletter so you can sign in if you are interested in getting your miniature painter journey forward with my teaching aid.

If you are one of the persons who recieved a voucher from previous cancelled seminars please do not feel offended in any way. I am sorry for the waiting time myself and I hope you all can understand the actual decision. If you are interested in a private coaching session instead I could give you your voucher as a discount.

At the moment I am discussing dates with venues for rescheduled and new workshops for autumn to give everyone enough time to plan ahead. As soon as I got new information I will of course let you all know. Please stay safe, take care and let's all together avoid a second wave and lockdown.

Hey Jungle,
unfortanetely I do not have any new news on the workshop front.

Due the Covid-19 situation I can not find/release dates and announce big group workshops or the new dates for the postponed ones. Also the seminars for June have to be canceled.

I am ready, but I can not.  As long as the information of the goverment is lacking or missing decisions when it is allowed for me to teach again concerning this situation I am not able to teach in large groups. I am also waiting for news around the NOVA OPEN 2020. Even the well known Octoberfest in Munich, got canceled this year. Let's see where this goes for the rest of the year. As the paragraphs are changing and opening up here and there I can tell you I am on it and well informed. I am looking forward to teach again, I miss it.

Of course I will keep you all informed. I hope to start teaching private coachings at last soon.
