Been down with a cold the last couple days. Frustrating; but thankful it wasn't worse.
Went to town yesterday. When we left yesterday, I noticed a helicopter with a line hanging down and realized they were trimming the railroad right of way. My hands were full and by the time I could get my phone out, it had moved off.
Then when we came back from town, it was still on the rail line.
The photos are not the best, but you can click on them to make them bigger. The sun was kind of blinding me and I was just shooting randomly.
There was actually a line of 5 or 6 blades on that... hydraulic line? It was hard to count them between the trees and us driving 50 the other way. Saw a lot of branches down as we headed home.
It was the only nice day we were supposed to have this week. Rain predicted until Sunday. Boo for Mardi Gras rain, but I am sure people were out.
You all be safe and God bless.

Had a nice meal out last night
Went to Tunk's Cypress Inn on Kincaid Lake.
Hubby hasn't been feeling well. Hard to explain. He's healthy, just not... himself. A lot of things have been upsetting him lately. Things he used to enjoy eating, he doesn't like eating any more.
So I suggested Tunk's. We hadn't been there in a while, and they have a wider menu than the restaurant we had planned to go to. Since the bar and restaurant are separate, the restaurant is quieter. No fans or air conditioning running, so hubby was comfortable temperature wise. And he liked being able to look out the window at the lake. (No picture, sorry. You'll have to go to the website to see that.)
He felt good enough to play with my food, haha. ;-)
He joked the crawfish were trying to escape. :)
I, of course, had crawfish for dinner. I can't get enough of them. :)
He had a small salad (maybe a cup?), a cup of Seafood Gumbo (no pictures, sorry), and the chicken tenders.
He said the gumbo was a little spicy, but not too bad. And he said the fries were good, and slowly worked through those while I ate my crawfish. He brought the chicken tenders home and gave them to our youngest son.
We also brought some bread pudding home, which we have yet to eat!
Hubby was relaxed and enjoyed himself, so that made me happy. Hard to believe it will be 45 years this summer.
You all be safe and God bless!

I'm back!
Took me almost three weeks, but I finally have my blog and my gmail account back. No thanks to Google.
Let me tell you, posting from a cell phone isn't fun!
It is a minor thing, but I do thank God for the small things, too.
You all be safe and God bless.
