Instructions
You need a real size teabag, glue, scissors, a ruler, and a small jar or plate or equivalent where to pour the tea from the bag. You might also need some thin sewing thread and tweezers but these are optional.
Avaa teepussi ja kaada tee astiaan. Mittaa tyhjän teepussin pituus ja leveys, jaa luvut 12:lla ja mittaa viivottimella 2x saadut mitat teepussista. Leikkaa hiukan ylimääräistä pituutta, se helpottaa taittelua ja ylimääräiset voi leikata pois myöhemmin.
Open the teabag and pour the contents on a plate (or any other dish at hand). Measure the teabag's width and length, divide the measurements by 12, and use a ruler to measure the obtained dimensions 2x for the mini teabag. Add a little extra to the length - it'll be easier to fold the teabag; you can cut the extra length off later on.
Taita pussi kaksi kertaa leveyssuunnassa. Sen pitäisi nyt koostua kolmesta kerroksesta. Taita pussi kaksinkerroin pituussuunnassa (=alareuna) ja tee ylimääräinen taitos alareunaan kuten oikeassa teepussissa. Leikkaa pussi oikean pituiseksi. Avaa pussin suuta hieman (pinseteillä) ja lisää vähän oikeaa teetä astiasta. Taita pussin yläreuna kuten oikea teepussi ja liimaa se kiinni. Käytä ompelulankaa tai oikean teepussin narua miniteepussin naruna ja liimaa se miniteepussin yläreunaan. Jos haluat hifistellä, voit liimata narun yläreunan taitosten alle. Fold the bag twice in width. The bag should now consist of three layers. Fold the bag twice lengthwise (= bottom edge) and make an extra fold at the bottom as in the 1:1 teabag. Cut the bag to the correct length. Open the mouth of the bag slightly (with tweezers) and add a little real tea from the container. Fold the top of the bag like a real teabag and glue it. Use sewing thread or the string of the 1:1 teabag as the string for the mini bag and glue it to the top. You can also glue it under the folds at the top. Cut a piece from the 1:1 teabag's card and glue it at the other end of the mini teabag's string. Alternatively, you can also print ready-made cards from the web.

The teabag on the left was made according to the above instructions. The one in the middle has only one fold, and last one is a triangle-shaped teabag imitating the pyramid teabags.
