Filopedia - Flickr Project

At the suggestion of Katka I have created a new group on Flickr to create a catalogue of every Filofax organiser ever made. Now it will need as many people as possible to contribute photos to this group to make it work.

So please take a look at the group on Flickr and contribute any photos you have along with model names and approximate year that the Filofax was for sale. Interior shots would be useful to help people identify unknown Filofax organisers.

Flickr Challenge - Filofax on Location

So summer is fast approaching and I'm sure you will be taking a Filofax or two on your travels with you.

So why not take a photo of your Filofax in a holiday location. Bonus points for taking a photo of your Winchester in the city of Winchester... or your Buckingham in Buckingham (a small shires town north west of London) you get the idea I'm sure....

Post them on the Philofaxy Flickr Group and we will have a bit of fun seeing the coolest Filo's sunning themselves or showing off thier 'tanned hides' to the passing folks...

Yes the idea was inspired by the photo that @Tommes_S posted on Twitter of his Malden Mini in Italy.

Philofaxy on Flickr

To integrate the Philofaxy community on Flickr more in to this site, I've just added a new page to the list of pages at the top of the blog.

The new page includes a slideshow of all the pictures on the Flickr group, you can even view them full screen, click on the four arrowed icon on the right of the slideshow... Esc to get back to normal size.

So join in and start adding some of your own Filofax pictures... any size of Filofax that is... not just the Pocket :-)

Enjoy.....

Steve

Huge discount on Dodo Pad A5 Filofax 2010 diary inserts!

For all of you users of an A5 Filofax, here is a planner/ diary insert that is different from the same old straight-laced Filofax refill. The Dodo Pad diary is a bit of a cult and is now in its 44th year, available for the first time for 2010 as an A5 Filofax insert! The last few are available at a huge discount, 55% off! Just enter promotional code 09FX at checkout to receive your discount.

You can see more about the Dodo Pad Filofax 2010 insert at http://www.dodopad.com/dodofax/dodofax.html and click on http://www.dodopad.com/acatalog/Diaries_Calendars__.html#aDPFX10 to order.

Supplies at this discounted price are limited and when they're gone, they're gone!

Regular prices and discount prices are listed below. Prices shown here INCLUDE order handling, tax and shipping:

Shipping in the UK regular price: £14.45, discount price only £5.95

Shipping to Europe regular price: £16.69, discount price £8.19

Shipping to USA and Rest of World regular price: £18.85, discount price £9.34

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Dodo Pad products, let me initiate you. They have been a fixture in UK households for the last 44 years and counting, and are only just starting to become popular in the US. The original Dodo Pad diary has a weekly grid format for keeping track of each person in the family, or for appointments and tasks, or different types of billable time at work, or endless other uses. Every week on the calendar there is a notable date or anniversary, artwork, and some kind of funny quote, riddle, or something interesting, with plenty of space for notes, lists and doodles. Each week is different and it's fun to see what is coming up next.

The thing I like about Dodo Pad products is that they are funny and clever and keep your life organized, but at the same time remind you not to take it too seriously. So check out their website and get some great discounts!

Philofaxy Flickr Group

I will be honest in admitting to having over looked the Flickr Group associated with the blog, until the last 'Free for all Friday' with a comment by 'Oni', so thank you for the timely reminder.

As you might know I'm a keen photographer (amongst other things!) so I will also be contributing to the Flickr group which you will find here:

As I quite often say 'a picture saves a thousand words!' Enjoy
