Refining their sound album after album, track after track, the newest advancement of ChillBitz's classic vapor alias Skyglow is another exploration into nightlife, daring to take a journey into the upbeat and vibrant where their previous releases tended more towards smokier, more hypnotic textures of sound. With the recent resurgence in brighter, more upbeat releases taking advantage of maximizing the fidelity and punch of their samples, "discreet phone affairs" fits right in.

Standout tracks such as 'i got your number' emphasize the funkiness that is inherently given a boost through this method of production, becoming ultra-danceable with major adjustments, tweaks, and cuts that manufacture an outwardly effortless sense of coolness. Bass-adjacent synths hold pieces above from the bottom, powerful and prominent, subdued just where they need to be to keep the groove going.

Skyglow has been a premiere artist at creating their soundscapes around a very specific point in time and a very niche set of moods.
