Warpfan Some benefit compilations are just ok, but I buy them anyway to support the cause they promote. Storm Season 台风预警, by contrast, is a powerful album. The tracks span a broad range of styles but still have a remarkable cohesion; I’d characterize them as “darkly beautiful”. I was already a fan of many of the featured artists, and their contributions here are innovative and solid. Also, the end of Dreyt Nien’s track reminds me of Autechre’s “Rettic Ac” which makes me love this comp even more. Favorite track: CITY소모.

With one half of our main team residing in Florida, the effects of Hurricane Milton were extremely affective to their life. In solidarity with everyone else who was given detriment by this storm, we have teamed up with over a dozen artists in order to raise funds to give back to the community that the production side of SFI calls home.

Across the vapor community, we have enlisted the help of many artists, including those in classic vaporwave (1-800-TONIGHT), barber (Gore, Mabisyo), slushwave (Atlas Cries), ambient (New Mexican Stargazers, Haunted Ghost), and signalwave (Florida Rains, TV2) in order to put as much attention to this issue as possible while also providing good music courtesy of these incredible artists.

We thank everyone who participated, as well as everyone who pitches in to help with the recovery from this disaster.
