A beautiful demonstration of radioplay and live experimentation, distant flash is an experience in itself. Composed entirely live over shortwave radio, the low fidelity created by this act excellently compliments the content within, almost as a reflective album upon radio culture over the years, and its degradation especially recently.

For such a niche style of music and an even more obtuse method of execution, valyri displays an incredible amount of knowledge in the making of distant flash, making the album feel almost as if you as the listener is turning the knobs of a radio, searching for a station.
