Why I love this boy

I asked Carson to clean his room this morning while I was working on cleaning some other things. I overhear this song that he is singing and it was cracking me up! I wish I had caught more of it on video but here is a sample of one of the many little songs Carson made up! He is just so cute and I hope all of my kids sing happy little songs when they have to do chores!

Like father like son...

Harris got Carson a tag-a-long bike the other day. I didn't think he was going to like it at all, but I was totally wrong. He keeps asking Harris to take him on a bike ride with his friends! Harris plans on taking him on some mountain trails soon...yikes. I better google some children sized body armor! Anyways, I love this tag-a-long thing, it really is pretty cute!

Happy Easter

We had a great Easter this year. It just keeps getting better and better every year watching Carson and spending these holidays with him.

Saturday night we dyed Easter eggs. He really enjoyed it this year. He made me a cute pink one that he drew a "football" on. I loved it! He also made himself a Bronco football one that he drew on with orange crayon and dyed it blue! It stunk up the house, but that's OK cuz we had a lot of fun. This is the death look I gave Harris for taking random pics of me!

Carson woke up Sunday morning to his Easter Basket. He was so excited. The Easter Bunny gave him Madagascar 2 and Scooby Doo in Hollywood. Then he was able to hunt for his Easter Eggs! He is a pro at it now!

Carson was sooooo handsome at church. This is his outfit. When he wears blue it just kills me! Since he would only do his squinty smile, you can't tell how amazing his eyes looks when he wears it! I think I stared at him all through Sacrament Meeting, thinking to myself how stinking handsome he is. I know it's weird!

We had dinner at Grandma and Grandpa McMullin's and later had dessert at Grandma and Grandpa Harmon's. It's very funny having the two sets of grandparents just one street down from eachother because Carson has named that area "the Grandma Section." He always tells me how much he loves the Grandma Section!

It was the perfect Easter Day. If anyone wants to hear a great talk on the Atonement, Harris and I were both really struck by this talk by Elder Holland in the April 2009 General Conference: http://lds.org/conference/talk/display/0,5232,23-1-1032-27,00.html

Homeless

This is just a little outfit Carson put together the other night he wanted to go ride his bike. He looks pretty homeless, but it's better than his original plan of being completely naked except for his sandals!

Spring-a-ling-a-ling time!

Carson and I have been singing that song from Mickey's Clubhouse because WE HEART THE SUNSHINE! It started Saturday and we got to take Carson's bike to the greenbelt and he rode his bike. We stopped at the park there and played. Then we came home to let Harris get ready for Priesthood. It was just me and the little guy so we went to the park AGAIN! We had a great time, except for when the pregnant lady took her son to the top of the rock climbing rock and they couldn't get down! Wouldn't that be embarrassing! Anyways, we had a great day and even got the car nice and clean!

Monday we had the Family Birthday Dinner Easter egg Hunt. Carson was looking forward to it for a long time, and he had a great time. His favorite item was the kite, which he didn't get to use today because it wasn't windy enough...not that I want wind. He's actually really good at hunting eggs these days! Plus, yesterday was another amazing, warm day!

Best of all was today. I love this weather. I'm happy to have had these past couple of nice days to spend with Carson. I love the quality time we can have before the baby comes and to see him have a good time!

March Madness

March was the craziest month ever! There were so many goals I had set to get finished and did I finish them....no. I've been so busy doing hair and this Bumbles stuff and trying to get the house ready that I've hardly had time for anything and the other night I just felt it like a pile of bricks. I just finished dinner, and I was so achy and tired I just vegged the rest of the night. It's been a little rough too, because I'm not going to lie, this weather is really killing me. We want to get out, and we NEED sunshine and since I can't cure that with tanning, I am pretty low on energy! Anyways, I finally decided to post some of the fun things we actually did have time and motivation to do last month!

First was Leprechaun Day. Carson had no idea what in the world a leprechaun was, until they broke in our house! They dyed our milk green and left us some Lucky Charms and Gold juice to eat for breakfast. But the question is, why did little green people break into our house? It was so weird because they broke in to Grandma's house too! I had to show Carson the picture of the happy, smiley, nice leprechaun on the Lucky Charms box to ease his mind a little bit!

We also worked out in the backyard and trimmed down our raspberry plants, very much needed. We had piles of sticks and so for family home evening we decided to have a little bonfire and roasted marshmallows. They were bunny marshmallows, so it was a little weird when they caught flames! Carson and I don't like roasted marshmallows unless they are involved in a s'more though, so we just fed Harris!

As far as pregnancy goes...I don't want to be pregnant anymore, but I'm not ready for a baby yet either, so I'm a little bit in denial about the whole thing, until I walk past a mirror! Not to mention, I've literally gone crazy! A mild example is when I was at my Dr. appointment he told me he was going to measure me. The appointment got over and I asked him if he was going to do that. He looked at me funny and told me he just did. What the heck? Where was I? He even had the tape measure in his hand! Plus, my $50 library fee since I honestly really didn't remember to take Carson's books back for a month! That is disgusting though and I am officially boycotting the Meridian Library!

So this is what has been going on, pretty boring I know but we have Easter, my sister's birthday and shortly after that her graduation, and then....Baby! So the excitement is just about to start!
